Expectation is top two.

Would accept top 4 if we run the top 2 close.

Not too concerned by the start overall, obviously it isn't good enough but we'll improve I'm sure.

Expect to finish - top 2

as said yesterday, I think the season will be split in thirds,

1/3 - muddle through, individual performances catch the eye
2/3 - more consistent in what we are trying to achieve, good runs of games picking up more wins than loses.
3/3 - strong finish, everyone fully aware of role in team and we look back to these days and laugh

We’ll be good again... one day

He wants to win 27, 28 or 29 games. We can't be still not be winning games in October or it is too late

That doesn't look like it will get us to top 2

Worked pretty much like that for Blackpool last season. We won't be winless for the first ten games like they were though.

ok,

1/3 - 6 wins
2/3 - 9 wins
3/3 - 12 wins

27 wins over the season? add in draws....

complete guess work here I might add.

Promotion either automatically or via playoffs.

Really don’t give a monkeys on style of play or formation etc….. just start winning

I love the way 1 team defying the odds becomes the norm. Every team that is struggling for points will just point to Blackpool.

Can't fooking wait. I might look into a short term flat rental near Portman Road. Let me know if you see any going

Top 3-4 but I think ultimately with the squad we have it should be top two

The longer this situation for want of a better term continues , I think it’ll cost us at the end of the season

Albeit it’s only the start and a long way to go but as an example Portsmouth are 5 points ahead of us already and if that costs us come May this shoddy start may well haunt us

Should be automatically promoted.

15 games (excluding cup) given to get going.

It's called 'building momentum'. It happens as teams gain confidence and familiarity. There are other examples beyond Blackpool. Oxford did similar, although ultimately fell short.

This time last year we were five ahead of Portsmouth. Neither side made the play offs.

Interestingly after two games the eventual top six last season were 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th, 15th and 24th.

Yes, pretty much this given the budget and the choice of players Cook has had. Merely finishing in the top six will be disappointing.

Top 2 but I don’t expect consistency of results until December although I want consistency in selection and formation much sooner injuries permitting to give time for the teamwork to grow. No excuses for not having that once the window closes.
Cook is getting everything he could possibly want but it takes time. Long as we are in touch, say no lower than 7th ish by early December I expect us to romp home!

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
