Angela Rayner doing her best to make Labour unelectable again.

She is spot on, and a lot of people will agree with her.
It is about time that there was an honest rebuttal of the cynical, dishonest and sometimes corrupt values of this government.

That’s a strange reading of reality. Rather it was just the accepted narrative.

Most of which was dictated by a fierce opposition to Corbyn’s policies and positions. Well, now we get the establishment-approved version of an opposition: a non-opposition of weak centrism and leftish platitudes that Cameron or indeed Johnson could stand for because they won’t change anything of any real substance.

How has our main opposition party ended up to the right of an actual US government? Mind-blowing stuff.

I think my post was pretty accurate actually. I think someone is pushing a narrative but it's not me.

What is it about the openly corrupt, incompetent and bigoted Boris Johnson that appeals to you?

bigoted
adjective
obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

Now the way you frequently name call and verbally abuse those with differing views to your own BB, suggests that this adjective which you use to describe Boris Johnson, could suitably describe yourself could it not?

For avoidance of doubt GB I have nowhere suggested that Boris Johnson is not guilty of sometimes giving the impression he has bigoted views.
All I am suggesting is that we all need to be careful that we are not guilty ourselves of the very things we accuse others of being.

Sorry, if you read my thread it is the word bigoted that I am suggesting can be applied to a few on here - not racist. Not sure how you misinterpreted that.

H, It is apparent that you and I have many differing views but that comment is unfair. I respect your politic stance and ask you to withdraw that slur. It was bigotry I was referring to and you know that. If you knew me you would know how incorrect that statement was.

Start at the beginning..."Will you nationalise the big 6 energy companies?"
......
"No."
...and take it from there!

How does that square with the quote you linked.
But hey GB likes him so I can see how he works for you too.

" sometimes giving the impression he has bigoted views"

https://www.businessinsider.com/boris-johnson-record-sexist-homophobic-and-racis

He has called gay men "bumboys," and compared Muslim women to "letterboxes."
In one column he labelled black Africans "piccaninnies" with "watermelon smiles."
He suggested that Malaysian women only go to university "to find men to marry."

Giving the impression? On the face of it that seems an odd turn of phrase to use.

Look, what you have to understand is Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson has only been educated at Eaton and Oxford, studying ancient literature and philosophy, and worked as journalist.

I mean, how is somehow with that sort of background supposed to be able to write things down and publish stuff without making comments that are viewed as bigoted now and again, and errr again.

We should simply understand, on occasion, due to his background, he sometimes gives the impression of being a bigot. Which I know is a common characteristic of actual bigots, but errrm,….well….,…you know…..

Jesus wept, Badge. You’re quoting one of his leadership pledges from early 2020.

The bloke has moved away from that one as well as the 9 others. THAT’S the problem.

But welcome to the game.
