If your previous posts about £18k a week are right then it's going to be a difficult deal to do in January under SCMP, even if he did take a pay cut. I assume we are right at the limit as it stands and anyone we can shift (bar perhaps Norwood) isn't going to free up huge sums in the wage budget.

A lot will depend on how they go though. If they continue their form and their strikers are scoring - then our chances of signing him are greater.
If they dip or injuries to their strikers, we could easily see him go back. And, of course, if he keeps going as he is...then there will be some very stiff competition for him.

It's not hard to work out why people want to see more of him. I get people why don't like the person, 100% - only an idiot wouldn't. But in footballing terms, he's proved he'll score goals if he stays fit. He's clearly not 'bang average'. Put him in the Championship and you might be proved right but we're in league one at the mo. |  |

Id take a guess thats why he's here on loan as we probably didnt want to pay close to that to get him in the first place. But I suspect theres a few championship clubs that will pay that in January if QPR don't want him themselves.
