It was a fantastic save and in terms of importance of it in relation to the score at the time makes it a worldy imo, for me there is a similarity of Richard Wright's point blank save against Alan Shearer on his debut for Town purely because of it importance factor.
But again over the years we have been blessed with some outstanding keepers and for me Walton's save would defo be in a top 50 list of all time town saves which given the keepers that would be on that list is a huge compliment to him.

Kelvin Davis made about 25% of the top 50 all time town saves ever, in one game, away at Forest. The finest goalkeeping performance I have seen by anyone, ever.

Best I’ve seen was from Dave Beasant for Chelsea at PR. We battered them but lost 1-0, all because of big Dave.

I remember a Kelvin Davis save away at West Ham that’s still the best save I’ve ever seen live. Think there’s a video out there somewhere

The best I saw was from Davis at Upton Park in the play offs. A header from Anton Ferdinand maybe?? Downward and goal bound and he somehow got across to it.
in the next moment , their forward got 10 out of 10 for throwing himself to the floor as if poleaxed after being usher off the ipswich defender, who had fallen to the ground. another thing was after coulson was injured wycombe wouldn't put the ball out and they nearly scored. so when their forward went down and we broke and scored a few mins. later they couldn't moan
forensic experts say footers and spruces fingerprints were not found at the scene after the weekends rows

I have no problem with teams not stopping play for injured players. It is up to the ref to decide if the game needs to be stopped. As often as not they are faking an injury to break up play anyway.
Reminds me of one of mine. Murray Rd rec circular 1985
Yep, likewise! Mine was against our local rivals Cockfield in 1982. We were defending the goal in front of the home hedge. They had a corner near the drinking trough and their big old bruising center half met it square on his forehead. It was destined for my right hand corner but I hurled myself across the goal and turned it onto the mole hill and round the post.
I've been trying to store a copy of that clip on my hard drive, but the Operating System keeps returning an error message - "F*(k off: Even I'm not saving that!"

Richard Wright contributed a fair few of them at Arsenal in 2001. Unfortunately, it persuaded Wenger to buy him and it all went wrong for us (and him, you could argue) after that.
Not sure if it's already been posted somewhere but there's some good footage of the match from Wycombe's Twitter and a great angle of Walton's save at around 2:55.
