Anyway yes, the Sudbury keeper looks U18, didn't defend well for the first and the bouncy pitch made it tough for the Sears shot. But equally if the keeper dived square on he might have got two hands on it and parried it away.
2-0 is a dangerous lead, but Sudbury need to keep the ball and be more aggressive. Don't be afraid move the defensive line up the pitch and go into Colchester. Otherwise I fear a white wash... |  | | |

Needs to force himself into the game. Get into positions and demand the ball. The few times he’s had it he’s looked tricky. Reminds me of Dozzell in much of his time here - small, lightweight, and waiting for things to happen rather than taking the game by the scruff of the neck and making it happen. | |

Agreed and thanks to WKJ for the background on the Subury keeper. He's a young lad and will learn from this, as you said he didn't get his feet right which meant he was off balance when he dived leading to what happened.
For the first, as usual the problem came from not stopping the cross, after that it's a melee. The only thing that might have helped us again foot work and just making yourself big and getting to the far post quicker. But yes it was going to be a goal 9 times out of ten unless a defender was covering. | | | |
