I use oat as A it’s the best one and B it’s most eco friendly.
Oat milk is by far the best. I just wish the likes of Costa would use an unsweetened variety.
This stuff is amazing:
You must have noticed an incredible change in the amount of vegan options in the last few years. I was standing in Sainsburys earlier wanting to try about 100 different products.

My Partner is off dairy - health reasons - and I am trying to reduce. I can't quite find a good substitute for milk in cereal though. I get through two pints of cow milk a week, so starting to reduce it.
I was the same, I now have soya milk on or in everything that I used to have cows milk, like giving up sugar after a few you get used to the taste and wouldn’t go back.

Definitely eating a lot less meat now compared to a few years ago but I’ve never seen the point in giving things up for a month. Eating less meat etc over a course of a year and beyond is better than giving it up entirely for a month.
On a side issue I learnt that there is actually a carnivore diet in which people only eat meat (or 80% of their diet) The bloke advocating it was a complete bell end mind.
Anyway, happy new year to you.

Me too. Meat once, maybe twice a week...the bigger picture. I think alternatives have improved and aren't as prohibitively expensive as before.
I can't see myself going full vegan for a while, but i prefer the taste and texture of plant products to cooked dead animal now.

What would you say is your main barrier to full commitment if your long term intent is to switch? I found my biggest challenge with many of my failed starts or dipping into it was my partner at the time didn't care for it at all. Made cooking a challenge.
