Hardest you've ever celebrated a town goal? 04:25 - Aug 25 with 6407 viewsBondiBlue

Armstrong's last-minute winner at Spurs, 2001. I really, really wanted us to stay up. Went way more ballistic than any of the 2000 playoff goals, Wilnis v. Man U, Armstrong v. Inter, Darren Bent at Carrow Road etc.

Scowcrofts equaliser at Birmingham in the cup semi I remember going nuts and screaming at brum fans

Cup games always produce better celebs just a shame we never win any now

As already mentioned:

Gavin Johnson at Anfield
Neil Thompson at Southend
Magilton last minute v Bolton
Chris Kiwomya header at Carrot Rood Christmas 1992…..actually any goal against Nodge.
Simon Milton at Barnsley to bring us back to 3-3….the contents of my pockets flew everywhere and on the way out a dear old lady tapped me on the shoulder and handed me back my car keys after they had hit her on the head!
The celebration at Burton the other night was pretty mad, helped by being on a terrace…TWTD!

I can’t explain it but every Town goal (unless we are being tonked) leads me to celebrate like it’s my last!

Mowbray at Wembley. It got me thrown out of the Barnsley end.

Only after I offered the steward a tenner each for me and my nephew.

I'd been to Camden Palace on the Friday night and got home at about 7am, so just carried on. Living in Ealing, we just got the bus to Wembley.

Haynes hand ball i think. Amazed no one mentioned Counago against Coventry, absolutely ridiculous scenes.

Bryan Gunn's airkick - absolute pandemonium in the North Stand; singing 'He gets the ball, he scores a goal, Bryan, Bryan Gunn' for perhaps 45 minutes afterwards. Pitch invasions, abuse of big Robert Fleck; delightful and pleasing scenes.

To be fair, pretty much any goal against the budgies is fully wild.

Weirdly I couldn't deal with Magilton's 3rd against notloB; didn't really celebrate as I had fully resigned myself to defeat. 25 minutes later, though, when Reuser scored - my days, wrecked my knees falling over a series of seats....

Honorable mention to Sears late deflected goal v Forest in 2015, the goal which in the end guaranteed our play-off place. Celebrating the Reading goals at Ewood Park a week later was also fun!

Haynes at Carrow Road for me.

Other than that, Spence at the Den in the last minute on a Tuesday night. Brilliant. Slightly scary walking to the station though.

Agree with lots of the shouts on here… a much more recent one and a bit of a rogue shout…. But the goal to put us 1-0 away at Oxford last season felt massive at the time

I only started going to games in the mid 2000s (work, time, money. transport), so mine are Chopra making it 2-3 away at Coventry in the snow and Carlos Edwards' last-gasp winner away at Derby the following season.

With honorable mention to Noel Hunt's strike at Charlton, with the ITFC South West crew going berserk in Toto's bar in Bristol, much to the bemusement of the hen party who were just arriving for their evening do.

Suprised none of the oldies mentioned Mariners first at Portman Rd on indeed Beatties in the sam egame...which then reminds me if the free kick v Bohemians, Woods goal at Leicester v Leeds definitely my hardest celebration on a radio commentary

Chaplow at Watford probably my number 1.

Priskin v Arsenal, Knudsen, Smith & Anderson v Norwich.

Our goal against Oxford towards the end of last season was celebrated superbly, ultimately meant nothing but that’s up there.

Haha I just mentioned that, wouldn’t say it’s a rogue shout, those that were there would agree I’m sure. Some scenes.

Ohh blimey how could I forget all three of those! There’s more than I first initially thought haha.

That Derby one was superb, we were buzzing the whole way home and drank the train from Derby to wherever we went.

Pablo v Cov, Reuser v Barnsley, Magilton v Bolton, Haynes v Norwich all ones I remember going bananas for. But one that hasn't been mentioned is Pablo v Norwich. Late equaliser after Bent had hit the post with a penalty - despair to jubilation and raked my shin down the chair in front so badly I was still bleeding for most of the walk (limp) home!

1. Johnson header at Anfield

Rest in no particular order.

2. Magilton v Bolton
3. Any of the four in PO final but probably Naylor's.
4. Thompson at Southend 91/92
5. Kiwomya v Newc same season
6. Butcher/Atlins v Oxford tied
7. Haynes at Norwich
8. Bent in play offs v WHAM
9. Johnson at Oxford
10. Bent v Sheff U

Honourable mention to our late winner at Pompey in 89 after the hailstones. Lots of bodies on the wet concrete.

My only regret with the Gunn/Ullathorne goal was that it didn't happen at the North stand end. That would have looked epic on the TV
