What I like about KM is that he gives information, his thoughts without giving too much away. In the nine months he’s been here I cannot think of one occasion where he’s ‘lost it’ publicly. He is measured and comes across as very professional. A marked contrast to his immediate predecessors.
Obviously, being good with the media is great, but it’s what happens on the pitch that really counts. Hopefully, success for us and him. [Post edited 23 Sep 2022 8:12]

I think we have to take the November comment on the chin (although the months of our demises have varied). This year will be different, however. I have little doubt of that.
These next games will show whether my considered optimism is well grounded. We can't keep drawing against the better teams and blaming bad luck. But I don't think we're gonna have to.

His interviews are (and no blue tinted glasses) simply brilliantly refreshing.
He explains what he did, why he did it, adds a little bit of technical insight but nothing too much.
There's no meaningless soundbites or quotes, everything he does is for a reason.

I suspect we can’t. At some point someone large will come knocking and it won’t be long if he carries on like this. The positive when he goes is that we now have a club management structure that works. They found McK and I’d be optimistic about them finding a good replacement. We’re miles away from the tragic Evans years already. |  |
