Edwards....I thought he did well tonight 22:52 - Oct 25 with 1606 viewshomer_123

...again he was happy to take players on time and again.

Something about the way he plays I really enjoy.

He was excellent and has grown so much over the course of this season. After Xmas, I can see him being a regular starter and game winner,

I’d personally start him over Chaplin

For a flair/dribbling player he actually uses and looks after the ball unusually well - very rarely does he give the ball away loosely and he also works well at trying to get it back too.

I think he’s going to be a star player for us in the second half of the season.

Chaplin has looked a little lost the last few games, there is a lot of competition in the squad at the moment and I love that.

Other than saving him for Saturday it made little sense to take him off tonight. He was holding and carrying the ball well, and would probably have been our best bet for a fourth goal had we needed it.

He reminds me of Zaha, if he does half as well as him, he'll be a serious player

Cook obviously liked the look of him, favouring him over Jacobs who would have been solid but no where near as exciting

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Thought there was some excellent play between David, Edwards and Humphreys. I would like to see that combination play together more regularly.

Not the best pitch for dribblers out there last night... Edwards excites, though, doesn't he.? And stick him on a decent surface like PR, and he'll shine brighter.
Can see him winning a few more penalties before the season is out .With his direct running and trickery.

He was a constant thorn due to his very presence in between the lines.

And it was only just a moment in the game but that little shift of the hips and drive to the dead-ball line for a cross was pure filth.

He’s always positive. And I think his partnership with Davis is starting to work well.

I would keep him in the side on form.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

His re-emergence is a massive plus. I'd hoped for it but not necessarily expected it. No exaggeration to say he's a unique talent, certainly below PL level, and if he's plugged into all the less instinctive bits we have a fantastic player on our hands.

He was excellent. Offers directness and pace, which we otherwise lack, and he appears to have imroved his decision making and defensive work. On arrival he clearly had talent but he was lacking that final touch / pass to capitalise on his dribbling skills.

I think his recent form may explain why the club / McKenna were happy to pass on Celina. It looks like a good decision at the moment.

Playing as a left sided 10 with a fair degree of freedom, the pace and athleticism of Edwards and Davis has been devastating in recent games.

I think this is helped by the fact that a lot of teams set up to nullify Burns and our right hand side, obviously leaving the likes of Edwards and Davis more space on the other side of the pitch.
