Am I allowed to say 18:03 - Jan 2 with 3062 views | nodge_blue | I really think Jackson doesn't add enough to this team. He scores too few goals. he doesn't win any headers. he doesn't pull the opposition centre halves about enough. And he doesn't have enough strength. I know this is a red rag issue with many that defend him. But a real weak link for me. We have to get someone in there as a number 9. Ladapo is better but in a rotation system we don't have enough behind him.

Am I allowed to say on 18:10 - Jan 2 with 2541 views | LeoMuff | I agree, he should be in a pairing to be effective, or in wide behind a 10, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him work as a lone front man. He puts in the work, but not sure he is good enough.

Am I allowed to say on 18:15 - Jan 2 with 2518 views | LankHenners | His strengths are lightning pace and work ethic which are useful against a team that leaves us lots of space or has lots of possession against us. Problem is pretty much nobody does this. His decision making, touch, general control and finishing is pretty poor. When he's been in wide areas and can get in behind he can cause a threat but even then for me his ability to pick players out has declined. Maybe more of an option for one of the wider roles but again unless he's played in with space I can't see him getting past a defender, which is a problem we're having with Burns already.

A useful squad player will always start some matches. I honestly think he has been fine helping to get us where we are but we need to get better than him.

Lighting pace seen it about 5 times since he signed a clueless player who never looks up and weak as water

Yep, in full agreement with that. When he signed a new contract, I immediately thought, "good back up player". Never expected him to start as many as he has, but Ahadme's injury and subsequent lack of fitness has probably assisted that.

Am I allowed to say on 19:07 - Jan 2 with 2209 views | Simonds92 | He wins more than his fair share of headers but theres no point as nobody runs off him. The more i watch us, as much as i don't think Ladapo is good enough to be our main man, i don't think we create much for the strikers at all. Jackson was in so many times first half today, on the shoulder but we never tried to roll the ball in behind for him to run on to. The one time he was accidentally given the ball in behind via a deflection, their cb was sent off. Proper no.10 is needed who can impact the game centrally and not drift wide.

You do realise that you wrote he wins his fair share of headers. I guess it depends on where you put that bar. But if he wins one in four I'd be surprised. Humphries must have nearly as many league goals. I don't like getting down on players but there comes a time when you have to draw a line. Think we saw McKenna say as much in his post match comments too.

Am I allowed to say on 20:10 - Jan 2 with 2100 views | FrimleyBlue | Personally. If we are going to use Jackson. I'd rather see him start on the right. Tiring out the left back and then getting Burns on in the 2nd half.

Am I allowed to say on 21:24 - Jan 2 with 1991 views | backwaywhen | A quote from a Lincoln forum ……. Ipswich are the best team to play at SB this season , but they look unbalanced and have 2/3 weak players , I would suggest Jackson was seen as one of those players along with Leigh, not sure on a third ?

Physically weak? We certainly aren't particularly good when having to whip balls into the box

I would expect that was on the basis of watching one match and hey are thinking finishing - so Ladapo, Jackson and Woolfenden/Chaplin possibly. We have outplayed everyone this season. It is killing off games either in taking our chances or stopping the opposition that has been a slight weakness.

I guess we’ll see him on Saturday but I’ve not got high expectations! Would prefer to give Morris a chance or even Chessy
Am I allowed to say on 21:53 - Jan 2 with 1825 views | TalkingBlues | He'd be brilliant at hare coursing, but you'd probably be looking to pay less than £1.7 million for a lurcher.

Am I allowed to say on 22:04 - Jan 2 with 1761 views | blueball1 | For all his hard work he starts as a striker so now and again we have to win 1-0 or 2-0 and he has to be scoring in those wins. I was there today and as soon as you see him starting to start to look at the midfield to see who will score because you don’t expect it to be him. I’m my opinion he would be a better sub for burns late on in games

Yes i did, watch him, he's surprisingly good at getting the first contact but it's generally only flick ons he wins and nobody runs in behind for him.
Am I allowed to say on 22:20 - Jan 2 with 1674 views | tractordownsouth | I didn’t watch the game today but it did surprise me to see him start against a team who were so effective as a low block last time we played them and didn’t give him space. I prefer him in the Burns role more than up front.

Am I allowed to say on 22:26 - Jan 2 with 1659 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Lapado is decent but there’s no strength in depth up front compared to Plymouth and Sheff Weds. Jackson is a reasonable squad player but he wouldn’t make first team at the aforementioned. Aaron Collins from Bristol Rovers please.
Am I allowed to say on 03:24 - Jan 3 with 1505 views | textbackup | The really fcked up thing is that if we were to bring in 1/2 more attacking options I’m still absolutely certain we see KJ getting game time. Seeing him in the starting line up, as the front man alone, makes me want to not bother watching/listening, it’s as predictable as day and night as to what the game will look like.
