Surely not. You'd have thought he/we would have factored Manning going elsewhere pretty swiftly into the decision to appoint him/accept the position here.

I believe Manning had intimated that he was taking some time out of management. I guess things change...

Could potentially decide which way his career goes in the short term. Im not convinced the player he will have their suit the way he appears to want to play so could be a tricky few months for him.

I hope he does well though, feels like a good fit for us style wise when McKenna leaves but still much to prove.

You would have thought ITFC on the way up versus Portsmouth might be part of the consideration for an U23s coach. Working under the McKennaball umbrella might also be interesting for another coach, depends where DW sees his career going.

We will see but suppose McG and DW is quite a heavyweight U23s team!
