Even if we go by the reported deaths (that would be underreported), COVID19 has killed over 7million people. The likelihood is that the amount of deaths were much higher than that.
And that's with the fairly extreme measures that many nations took.

I can't really just argue over anecdotal evidence. We have members of this forum who worked in healthcare that had a very different experience from what you're talking about.

I know it won’t be fashionable to agree with the poster but yes I think pretty much all kid’s education suffered through the pandemic and this combined with the fact these kids are the first generation of the social media age makes me certain that for many the effect on their mental health and future wellbeing will be dramatic.
