So the FBI say… on 12:25 - Mar 1 by DanTheMan | Even if we go by the reported deaths (that would be underreported), COVID19 has killed over 7million people. The likelihood is that the amount of deaths were much higher than that. And that's with the fairly extreme measures that many nations took. It was not a "sniffle". |
Indeed, the deaths in India alone are probably higher than the official global figure. The rewriting of history around covid is getting rather annoying. SB

I can't really just argue over anecdotal evidence. We have members of this forum who worked in healthcare that had a very different experience from what you're talking about. The level of conspiracy it would take to get not only our nation but practically every other nation on earth to orchestrate such a lie would be beyond imagination.

Didn't they shut down all schools? It was crap at the time, kids with 45 minutes of online "lessons". Kids with special needs forgotten.. Maybe the children of rich privileged parents were okay, but not any I know of. Opposing opinions you disagree with doesnt make someone a troll buh.

I don't think there's any suggestion it was intentional. It's impacted China as much if not more than most other nations. They're only just easing a lot of their restrictions.

The level of hysteria, and governance, perhaps is more appropriate than conspiracy. Lots of bustards all making same selfish coercive controlling, risk averse, profit seeking decisions, doesn't need to be coordinated. I literally saw no one seriously ill, just suffering a novel respiratory virus. I look at our society and the billionaire landlords that decide our fate. And I do not believe them.

I know it won’t be fashionable to agree with the poster but yes I think pretty much all kid’s education suffered through the pandemic and this combined with the fact these kids are the first generation of the social media age makes me certain that for many the effect on their mental health and future wellbeing will be dramatic. There are large numbers of kids who are not ok.

I have children too. The fact is this was an unknown virus, so maybe things weren't perfect, but hopefully we will learn for the future what worked and what didn't, and lessen so far as possible the impact on children. [Post edited 1 Mar 2023 12:49]

You've started at your end position and then worked backwards making sure the "facts" fit in order to get to what you want to say. Millions died, many more would have died without restrictions before a vaccine was available. Whether you saw someone seriously ill or not is irrelevant. It happened. SB

You are a moron, and an offensive one at that. Think yourself lucky if your nearest and dearest were largely ok, but to extrapolate from that that it didn't exist or it was just a sniffle is unbelievably stupid. In fact I don't believe it, I think you're just a pathetic troll. I don't know anyone with cerebral palsy but I wouldn't leap to "it doesn't really exist" because of my own lack of experience.

A ‘sniffle’. Seriously??? I only know what I saw and Covid was no ‘sniffle’. Given how many people lost friends and relations to it and how many people have had their long term health wrecked by it, I am amazed you came out with such a line, even as a wind up.
