or when there's high winds, but what's our record like in the rain? It is April after all, so we can expect a few showers (rain I mean, not performances like today, hopefully).
Here's hoping for sunshine and clear skies for the rest of our games.

How rude
We’ve been pretty good with the weather conditions over the previous eight games. We could however do without the pessimistic outlook of your contributions..

It’s not just us though is it…think of ‘perfect conditions for an upset’ and you’ll throw in some wind, rain and a muddy pitch. It’s just how football is and you take the rough with the smooth. Without Walton misjudging the flight of the ball we win that.

There must be something wrong with me, as that gave me a little chuckle
Narrator’s voice: ‘We are good in the snow though’:
That was a televised game wasn't it, I distinctly remember watching it, in disbelief that anybody thought conditions were ok to play in. Never thought I'd see anything like that again in modern football, but then there was Oxford in the fog.

Unbelievable Jeff.
Yes it was. Same, I remember watching it thinking it was nuts and expecting it to be called of at any point. And yes, I think I’d agree about Oxford too. I was assuming the only reason we carried on was because it looked worse on iPlayer than it really was. But apparently no, nobody there could see what was going on either.

Frimmers is finished, the “crowd” have broken him, he only posts positive things now.
Not Broken TB, just looking at things as i've always done and in the moment. I didn't personally feel we'd get 3 points sat, so a point isn't a shock, I guess that helps with how you feel afterwards. Chelts aren't bad at home, we'd had a tough game just a couple days before and we were missing one of the main reasons we've won so many games recently.
I didn't think we'd beat both Derby and Bolton personally, so in my mind, as long as we get the wins in the next two home games, we've still done better than I had hoped for in this recent run.
On the game itself, I did question harness instead of Edwards, but then I wouldn't have played luongo so soon after a game, and he still played like luongo anyway lol.
Walton, mistake yes, but then if harness scores, or Burns or hirst etc then that goal conceded doesn't matter, the 1-0 scoreline is always a risk.

I think the Sky cameras being there may have helped keep it on. We were never meant to be on TV IIRC. I'm sure the evening game got called off and we offered them our game instead. Again, IIRC, it was announced on Soccer Saturday.

Yeah I’m absolutely sure the wind played a part. Somebody commented somewhere else that the wind didn’t come from no where…well it sort of does and inconsistent gusts etc play havoc with decisions on go for that kind of take. I wasn’t having a pop at Walton but he misjudged that ball and if he hadn’t we’d have won. Lots of mitigating circumstances so I’m not blaming him.

Can you be more specific? Meteorologically there are three different types of rain: convectional rainfall, orographic rainfall and cyclonic rainfall.
Egypt is listed in the top countries with the least rainfall so, despite hailing from the Midlands, I’d assume Morsy may be the most affected, genetically.

Wow, this has really opened my eyes, I feel like all the pieces are coming together now. That Cheltenham game, it was really windy and Burns had a terrible game, Wind/Wes both begin with “W” and then there was Marcus Harness, a “M” and he was terrible too, possibly “M”eteorathingy (what you said, boy that’s a mouthful) affected and Morsy too, another “M” and as you rightly say, midlands birth/raising aside, genetically definitely susceptible to rain, I hope the oppos don’t catch on to this, a few squirts from a water bottle could be all it takes to put Morsy off his game.
