Luton or Coventry then ? 16:42 - May 27 with 3839 views | Metal_Hacker | Who are you behind ? Not overly fussed (brilliant they are both where they are of course ) but if I had to choose it’d be Coventry for me. No other reason than their football is an upgraded on Luton’s

Luton or Coventry then ? on 17:27 - May 27 by Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | This will be about the 9th championship game I’ve watched this season and I’ve not seen one team play anywhere near as good as football as Town. Sure the opposite might often not be as strong (I suppose) but in terms of quality of play, I am being dead serious. |
The closest was Sunderland’s last league game where they played really well at Preston. However, I’ve seen a similar number of Championship games and I’ve not been impressed. I don’t think there’s much for us to fear. The difference between the standard of this game and the others against the PL is a chasm.

That’s just because the teams are better matched, more gritty fine margins etc. It’s easy to look better when playing Burton FGR etc even a team like Pboro are miles away from teams like these two.

Andy Hincliffe just cited Luton’s goal as example of how good Luton are at football; the same goal that came from a Coventry mistake and a 70 yard launch down the pitch into a channel Ala Mick. We’d beat both these sides.

Do those fine margins explain why Coventry aren't able to complete a simple 10 yard pass or why Luton's primary attacking tactic is to launch it into the box from anywhere and see what happens? The quality is poor. Games can be attritional whilst still having a degree of quality on show, our 0-0 against Burnley springs to mind.

Luton or Coventry then ? on 17:44 - May 27 with 1417 views | textbackup | I get playoff finals are edgy in your face affairs, but there is a real lack of quality on show here. Fantastic individual play for the goal, but that aside, it’s not great is it

Luton or Coventry then ? on 17:55 - May 27 with 1346 views | ITFCSG | Luton seems to be the Championship equivalent (albeit more effective) of Lincoln or Wycombe in L1. Their rise up the EFL may be a fairytale for some, but their football is dreadful. If they do go up they'd need an entirely new team or they will probably end Derby's record for lowest ever points in the Prem. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I really like that Hamer for Coventry. Not entirely sure what position he plays, seems to be everywhere!

Well obviously. It’s now or never for both of these teams. The winner will no doubt set the record for the lowest amount of Premier League points and finally take our record for the biggest spanking. The loser will be mid table next season at best.

Luton or Coventry then ? on 19:17 - May 27 with 1121 views | NBVJohn | I live close to Hinckley in Leicestershire, midway between the two cities and I’m of the view that entitled Leicester going down to be replaced by ‘dying football club’ Coventry would be comedy gold. Was in town this morning and lovely to see excited fans lining their stomachs with a full English ahead of getting onto the M40. Not long ago they were playing home games in Northampton, now they’re on the brink of the Premier League. Quite a story. Good luck.

It is quite a story and if they do it the laughter will be on Leicester. In the meantime, the game is stinking the place out and the clock is going backwards.

Luton or Coventry then ? on 19:40 - May 27 with 1074 views | Vegtablue | Poor game but wishful thinking surely to write off the loser next year! 48 games to get here and all that. Coventry could lose their best player(s) but then would have a massive war chest to fund the next campaign. Luton's brand may falter next year but then it was good enough for the third best finish and defensive record in the league.
