And may not be that good even next season, given Norwich appeared on Sky 15 times last season.

Sunderland at 5pm on a Sunday is not an inconvenient start time. An inconvenient arrival home though, certainly.

Sunderland away 5pm Sunday on 09:37 - Jun 22 with 2407 views | FrimleyBlue | Perfect for town though. Longest journey. Had it been midweek or a sat midday kickoff that would haven't been the best for the team. But a Sunday kickoff means we can travel early. Probably train somewhere local on the Friday. Prepare sat then have the game. With plenty of time to get back for the hime game a week later. Imo.. Best day and time to get Sunderland away

That's what I thought too. I always thought Boxing Day was supposed to be a relatively close team? Unless it's coincidence I seem to remember usually having a London based team for boxing day in ye'olde days

We have played Leicester a few times over the years on Boxing Day so must fall under the EFL relatively close category. Not sure why the EFL have fixtures on Friday 29th December as 3pm kick offs.

They came to PR in 1990, I think it was. Crowd was probably in the 12-14,000 region, and included me and my dad. Can't recall how many Boro fans were there, but they won 1-0 so would have had a nice journey home anyhow. Edit: Looked it up now - the gate was 12,508. [Post edited 22 Jun 2023 10:43]
