Yeah. £240 a season seems steep though. That's double iFollow.

I wouldn't have thought so.

On the plus side, the more revenue the club gets, the better players we sign.

That's based on the assumption that iFollow was for 12 months which it wasn't really. It was about 9 months worth of matches and then nothing else.

So as a direct comparison it's more like 180 GBP for the season which is very comparable to iFollow.

If you want the content during the close season (which iFollow didn't provide I don't believe) then you're paying the extra for that.

In the end though, as you say, all extra revenues go to the club.

A bit of a hiccup, I signed up as an international, but for some reason it hasn't recognized my membership yet, so I can't view the videos yet.

It's fixed.

At least 10 games will be on Sky.

All midweek games + Sunderland + several others I would imagine such as the Norwich games.

What about the presenters, the 2 James', Kirtland and Tzanoudakis? I'm rubbish with remembering names. Is James Kirtland the guy that's being doing iFollow this year or someone new?

James Kirtland has been a presenter on Soccer AM and think he had something to do with content as well with the programme.

Now sky can show midweek matches via red button does this mean international subscribers will not be able to view these as well as any other sky televised town fixtures such as Sunderland on 6th Aug?

Sky have been showing midweek Championship games on the red button for a couple of seasons now. My understanding is that a midweek game will be available both on Sky and TownTV, both to domestic & international audiences. The only case where this does not apply is if the game is picked as the main event; for example, when it's broadcasted on Sky Sports 1 instead of the red button.

Below articles from last season confirming midweek games available both on iFollow and Sky Sports Arena (red button)

Season long Swansea TV subscription for international fans in 22-23 was £170, Town Tv only offering the monthly subscription totaling an approximate yearly £240. Bit surprised Town Tv will cost that much.

As a US-based subscriber, it’s unfortunate that Town TV is £100 more than a season of iFollow (notwithstanding the single camera technical deficiencies of iFollow).

As a US-based supporter, for the price increase I'd take iFollow back with Brenner's commentary.

wrong its 20 quid a month but maybe plus the 6 not sure yet waiting for club to answer queries

Out of the clubs who have announced their prices, we have the second most expensive behind, surprisingly, Plymouth - who are charging a whopping £35.00 per month or £200.00 for the season! Would be nice if the club offered a season pass or even an early bird price like other clubs have done.

I’m just about ok with the international price if it fixes the main deficiencies with iFollow:

- An Apple TV app because I don’t have the means to connect my iPad to my TV
- multi cameras at the games
- the ability to play the full game from the start at a time that I choose.

Mid week games start at 3am for me. With iFollow I had two choices, wait several hours for the replay and try to avoid the score (almost impossible); or get up at 4:30, start the stream with the score in the top corner covered, rewind it 90 minutes and watch it then. Would love to get up at 5:30 and start the stream from kick off in the same way I can do with 2-3 other sports apps.

That and make sure I can cancel during the off season so I’m only paying for 9 months a year.

I guess I’ll have to see…

Wonder how long the highlights on TTV will be? Might pay some to just pay the £5.99 per month and watch the highlights,( plus get all the other perks included)?

I get "This tablet is not compatible with this app"!

I do too.

Did have a bit of a Google on this and I've made sure all my updates are updated and checked the Google play store version was correct. Still have a problem with this on my Samsung tablet. Only bought it last year so don't think it's that old a version. Able to get the App on my Samsung phone, but not my tablet.
Anybody else get this problem or can suggest a fix?

I wonder how many £10 Town TV match passes will sell when the game is on Sky Sports Red Button. I think Sky just use one camera and one commentator, so the Town TV will be better quality (albeit possible less independent) coverage. I suspect most fans who already pay for Sky will watch it on Sky.

Now TV usually have Sky Sports offers for around £20 (+£5 for HD and three screens) a month. They show red button games on Bonus Streams if you hunt around in their menus, although I am not sure if all are on there.

Was addicted to I follow and for me waking at 2am to watch weekend matches was a joy having been away for 25 years. Yes I know I missed the bad years....
As a rugby infatuated nation sky is crap here and hardly any live football shown let alone on delay.
Signing up for this will mean no way to watch games shown live in the UK even if they are not shown live here.

So sign up pay more yet miss several games if we do well and are picked up by sky...That sounds a crap deal to me at the moment.

Also why is the Sunderland game not included is that on Sky?

I think you'd be able to find a live stream of Sky games from one of the fairly decent off-piste sources though, e.g. Cricfree's pretty reliable & not dodgy like some -

Maybe it was because I was on my phone, but finding the app to download it was a lot more difficult than it should have been I thought - had to do a search to find it.
