Jonathan Panzo 07:36 - Aug 3 with 8853 views | itfcjoe | Left footed CB, fits mould for what we want Loan to Rangers has just fallen through and linked with Coventry (where he spent last season on loan), Cardiff and WBA by Darren Witcoop Wouldn’t surprise me if one we now look at

Jonathan Panzo on 08:26 - Aug 3 with 6425 views | JimmyJazz | Did you see the play-off final Coventry v Luton where he came on and almost gifted the game to Luton? One high profile error, but enough to put me off.

Correct on both fronts. Think he went to Monaco. Was really highly rated at Chelsea before that move. Would he a very good signing. Would like to see it as a permenant signing if we do go down this route though.

How many more centre backs do they want to sign?!

Do Coventry have an active interest in him? Seems strange that they didn't go back in hard for him or McNally

Jonathan Panzo on 09:07 - Aug 3 with 6031 views | Herbivore | Be interested to see if we are in for him. Looks like a player who has a lot of potential but has struggled to find a home and realise that potential.

Apparently so, I think its the fact that he's left footed.

One for McKenna to improve then!

Agree. We need a De Vos type signing who has at least a couple of seasons left in him at this level.

Hopefully. We need more than a Keogh type signing who is "good for morale", but someone who we can rely on to play 25+ games if required and good enough to do so. I also think Burgess and Woolfenden have earned the chance to start vs Sunderland based on form in the last 20 games of last season. So we're not desperate for just anyone.

Personally again no knowledge I don't think so as has been a free agent for a while think if McKenna wanted would have bedded him in during the friendlies and got him up to speed during the training.

It's more the case they sold a player this summer, for £20m, giving them a lot of legitimate money to throw around. Whereas we can't take the the FFP.

You expect people to take you seriously whilst displaying such ignorance about FFP?
I suspect he simply wants attention however it comes on 11:30 - Aug 3 with 5069 views | Dyland |

Now I've had time to come round to the idea I wouldn't be adverse to Kongolo. Good age for a centre back, who should have more than two years left of his career, plus experienced at this level and elsewhere. His injury record is a concern but think I'm right in saying, out of his three major injuries, only one was muscle related? The other two were fractures.

I dont get why we are dragging our heels over signing a CB we are clearly needing one, yet since McNally it's gone deathly quiet on the subject. Panzo would have been ideal. Left footed too, just what we want.
