It's probably already happening to a certain extent, but if/when we're promoted to the PL I'm sure Ed Sheeran will be asked to help raise our profile around the world.
The extra merch sales and TownTV subscriptions to international supporters, would make a huge difference so we can compete and meet FFP requirements.
The carpetbaggers are more interested in the US market. If Sheeran has a profile there he could be useful - but the real appeal is to vacuous bond salesmen and hedge fund managers looking to ‘invest’. I doubt he carries much weight there.
Can whoever it is, stop putting 10p in him. Please.

Not one to usually feed the troll, but he is in the top 10 selling artists in the US of all time, and the highest grossing touring artist in the US -so yeah, he does have a 'profile' there.
His last tour was the second highest grossing tour of all time globally (behind Elton's farewell tour)... I sometimes think some of our fans forget exactly how big a star he is globally. 45.5 million instagram followers, vs 194k for the official club account.
Whilst musically, he's not really my thing, we're lucky to have him connected him to the club in the capacity that we do.
I've seen this ensemble a couple of times, get Ed playing bass and give Elkan a drum and we have it made (or we realise that what works for one island in Indonesia offends everyone else...) Would like to see how the 'clap...clap...clap...clap' merchants cope with this if it was played over the Tannoy:
Sounds a bit Les Baxterish to me....
You are the obsolete SRN4 to my Fairey Rotodyne....

If Sheehan has a profile there?
Well he’s just been out there for 6 months, touring, going round fans houses, turning up at events before gigs, turning up to pubs and restaurants and buying/giving out free food and drink, so I’d say he does have a pretty good profile there.

I'm continuously surprise as to how this obvious troll continues to be allowed to post here. Others have not been nearly so lucky.

Im not one to call teacher, but why is this pr1ck allowed to post on here? It's obviously a Town fan with a very bizarre sense of humour/need for attention, or some rival fan on a wind up.
Pr1cks like haynestoe lasted so long as there was such bad feeling around the club, they were under the radar for years. This guy is always in threads trying to tear down the ownership and general good feeling of the club even though we're second and 5 points clear (10 ahead of Scum)

I don't think Heffalump'n'th'hood is a budgie or has a bizarre sense of humour They may crave attention though and, to me, even seem a bit typical of the jaded Town supporter who have not been cheered up even by the remarkable turnaround in our fortunes (both in spending power of the ownership and performance on the pitch) because glumness is part of their persona. There could be very good reasons for that too, personal tragedy, a tough hand dealt them right from the start of life, perhaps even a general unhappiness about the various malaise in this World.
We don't all have to be singing from the same song sheet and I find the occasional dissenting voice refreshing and a useful addition to the rainbow coalition that is our forum.
