Nigel's going to win it isn't he? 22:36 - Dec 8 with 5798 viewsThe_Flashing_Smile

Fix, I reckon. To make him look more popular than he is.

Why would they fix it? Bit of a random suggestion

I explained why. Whichever party he's in these days (I lose track) or about to join - them and their bots ring up again and again to convince the public he's popular. And the longer he stays in, the more people soften. He's said himself he's desperate to get as much airtime as possible.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Unfortunately this just goes to show how popular he actually is with the general public, don't worry though,he'll come second.

With Ant & Decs record on these things, I very much doubt it.

It's astonishing, and quite the reflection on the sad state of this country, that he's still in it.

I think the downs are due to fix maybe, doesn't seem to be a lot of farage fans on here in general.

To me, if you separate the politics and the fact he is a slippery politician, he comes across as an old school gent. He certainly does have some bigoted opinions and comes across as sexist but he's fairly docile and I appreciate some of the chats he's been in.

He won't win but he's not as bad as Hancock imo.

If you think he comes across as just an old school gent then you've fallen for it too. How the words "gent" and "sexist" can be linked is beyond me.

He's been utterly calculated in everything he's done, probably the only one on there IMO who hasn't properly let his guard down because he knows the cameras are always on.

I haven't watched for years so didn't see the Hancock stuff.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

If it was a vote for who you want to leave he would’ve gone ages ago, probably 1st out.

Given it’s a vote for who you want to stay he’s obviously going to be up there when it’s split across 5, 6, 7 people etc. Don’t forget 52% of the voters backed Brexit.

Having said that I’ve not watched it, so no idea how he’s coming across to the easily fooled.

He's the least likeable on there, and I also mean as in least liked by the other contestants as well. He just doesn't seem to fit. Which makes it all the more baffling as to who's keeping him in. I thought he'd stay in to do the trials initially, and he was getting voted for most of them at the start, but he's done that now and they don't seem to bother him as much as the rest.

I just find him a bit boring aside from anything else.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

do you think the russians are going to rig the vote?

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Farage has about 20%-25% support in the country - the same people love Trump, think stop the boats is the most important issue facing us, tend to be climate change deniers and so on.

I think it's a much sadder reflection on the country that politicians think it appropriate to go on reality TV shows.

I agree with this although, I find it much sadder that the public accepts it (and many other things from our politicians that would have brought down multiple governments in the past) without a whimper and that Farage is still considered 'a politician' when in fact his electoral record is dismal.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Just because someone is critical of someone it doesn’t mean that they are ‘triggered’. It’s like saying someone is a ‘hater’ because they simply dislike someone or something. Pathetic.

Read his post again, he’s literally upset about the possibility of him winning an Ant & Dec (I think?) TV show!

And apparently I’m the pathetic one! There was another 5 page thread about him being on there in the first place, you guys always amuse!

Him still being there has more to do with that, than any fix.
