By all accounts was off to a flying start at Oxford - read his early performances were exceptional.
Having said that, would prefer as option to Jackson/Aluko in the squad.

He's out until April but despite the recall he is staying in Oxford and with the Oxford medical team. All been agreed with Oxford. Unlikely to play again this year based on that (not quite sure why loan is cut short - must be a clause Oxford have utilized).

That would be disappointing, given you would hope for some resell value on him
I know you can't win every time on these kind of signings but Edwards has talent and will no doubt have a reasonable career at either League One or Championship level I suspect
He will grow with someone like Oxford |  |

Let’s be honest. Nice guy, seems a good egg too, but he really never caught fire for us when so many really wanted it to go that way. This will go down as unfulfilled talent for us. I hope he can get fit and get himself games and his career on track to deliver some of the undoubted talent he actually has. Looks like if he does we will not share the spoils. | |

We're now paying his full wages while he gets fit at Oxford. I would imagine that we'll cancel his contract so he can move there out of window once he's fit? Can it work like that. |  |
