I think Ladapo would need to give up his squad space. In light of McKenna using Jackson, then Broadhead, then Harness in preference to bringing Ladapo on, I think he is not even insurance now.
Fine margins really, if his shot against QPR that Begovic deflected onto the top of the net goes under the bar, he might have gained some confidence. But it didn't.

We needed 2 strikers before Hirst got injured. One to replace Freddie and one to replace Scarlett. I say we still need two. One buy and one loan.

Sarmiento in reality probably replaces Scarlett in the squad. Gallagher in and I think Ladapo goes to Charlton or elsewhere. I imagine that deal may be agreed but dependent on us getting ours done.
Ladapo is 2/3 out of the door and will go if we sign Gallagher and or the Watford guy.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I got 4 seconds in and wanted to push him infront of a train. Fair play for listening
I thought this was going to be a rather harsh exaggeration, but I actually paused and turned it off at 3 seconds!
I don't know what's worse, the 30 odd words I think he squeezed into 2 seconds (first second was silent), or that fact I only understood about 3 of them.

Surely we already know Jackson is with us until the summer (or longer even) either way? McKenna loves him.
Yeah but he’s been training as a right winger not a striker. And the fact he’s ahead of Freddie means Freddie’s time is numbered. We should definitely bring two strikers in, and if we get Gallagher I think he will be the replacement for Freddie not Hirst.

The opening was unintelligible, I honestly thought he was speaking a different language.
After that though he gets better, seems to think that a deal has been agreed for Gallagher and its just personal terms holding it up.

Fingers crossed as he looks like the right kind of player. Issue is we need him now and I bet Blackburn (and likely Gallagher himself) will use that to their advantage in negotiations.

If he's right about an deal being agreed, that still doesnt mean its with us.

His description of Gallagher doesn't make your heart leap with joy though.
A forward who is unfavourably compared to others in recent years (Danny graham etc), hoping that he may get 10 goals this season as an aspiration.
But he is big and can hold the ball up.
Trouble is we just don't have many options out there.
We didn't sign Hirst to get us 20 goals in the championship, why would his injury cover suddenly need to? We signed Hirst to help everyone around him get 10-15. We have so much firepower behind our striker, Hirst's greatest attribute is giving them space to work.

Yep, I was quite happy with his description of Gallagher. Hard work seemed an important part of his skill set, something that fits right in here.

They weren't giving Travis any minutes so I'm not sure they know what they're doing. They might be freezing people out they can't afford to pay, or would prefer not to.
