Mrs G had a really rare form of cancer diagnosed back in 2019 while we were having our 12 week scan for what would have been our 2nd child.
We went from going in to see our baby to being told we would likely need to terminate to get treatment. The tests all took 4 weeks and the tumour was basically growing so fast it would consume the baby as well, so we had no choice.
Luckily the specialist team in London cured her and we went on in 2022 to have a 2nd child too.
The point i’m making, probably very badly, is it can look like the end of the world but sometimes it can be the beginning of a very different journey.
Those words “cancer” are utterly terrifying but there is light there and KC3 will have the best treatment.

Assuming that he will be undergoing some form of radiotherapy, there will be radiographers, scientists and engineers involved in his treatment and without whom the treatment wouldn't happen. No one ever mentions these, it is only doctors and nurses that get mentioned. |  |
