After the events of the recent days, I'm reminded of some other posters people perceived to be "wind up merchants" - as such, whatever happened to the chap who claimed to have gone to Boro away on a mo ped?!
I recall he then had a made up job as a deep sea fisherman or similar?!

That was Fergal Sharkey. There was a go fund set up to pay for his moped. Turned out it was nonsense. The fund was generously given to me for a project in Moldova to provide schools with decent bathrooms. Was a great story though. |  | | |

I'm pretty sure it was Fergal who also planned to do a cycle ride from north to south africa. A distance of about 7000 miles through some of the most difficult routes on the planet, that he was confident he'd be able to do in two weeks flat. |  |
