Whatever happens this season … this a huge tipping point with 11 games to go…. Who would have imagined such a gulf at start of season. 😉

That's just not true is it. Hopefully it is a tipping point, but 'whatever happens' is just nonsense

I would hold off any comments like that until the ens of the season

If we don't get top two, it doesn't matter a jot how many points ahead we are. We've found that out to our cost more than once. Absolutely anything can happen still.

Agreed. Let’s beat them on 6 April or in the play-offs should it come to it.

I sit here having had a good enough dinner and enough drinks to say that I would happily take us winning on 6 April and then going up automatically, with them winning the play-offs and hostilities resuming as a Premier League fixture.

It’s just unfortunate that I suspect the arrogance they’ve built up over the last decade (Ulla apart) won’t see that wish reciprocated.

Could be a top of the league at Carrow Road scenario, which would be fun!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

A return of the top flight derby would be fantastic.

If neither team go up they have Sarra, Sargeant and Rowe that could all be sold and raise about 60-70m this summer for re investment.

I don’t think any such tipping point has been reached sadly.

We could finish 20 points ahead of them and still meet them in the play-offs. Where they could beat us and get promoted.
Let's not be guilty of going overboard too soon. We did that before Christmas before we had our dip and Norwich were way off the play-offs. They're a pretty decent team and could easily squeeze into the play-offs where it then becomes a lottery,

Please don’t mention them until after we play again as you just know what they could do to us.

So much depends upon injuries between now and the end of the season, and then the depth of the squad matters too.

We are ware just how much Rowe means to them and he is out injured for a while, but they still get results.

We have lost Hirst for the season and, despite an initial dip, now win games consistently.

There's more luck in the professional game than most fans realise.

How much would the loss of Morsy for the rest of the season affect our chances?

That would be utterly brilliant, provided we stay in the top two till the end of the season.

To be fair, he did clarify it "with 11 games to go", which is factually correct. It is astonishing, and totally unexpected, to be this far ahead of them at this stage of the season, after promotion. Whether we meet in the play offs or not, that is correct.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Agreed, but they are petrified a tipping point in the balance of power has finally arrived ..

Wrath of the Barclay is obsessed with our season, every game they are updating each other on our scoreline, the pain is palpable whenever we win.

They think we're running on ludicrous levels of luck, much like 2014-2015, but unfortunately for them the sea change in our football club runs much deeper.

Budgies are an insecure bunch when it comes to our rivalry and their insecurities are on full display at the moment which is a joy to behold.

That said if we do go up I would actually want them to join us, say in a year or two once our regional dominance is firmly re-established, because I love the East Anglian derby.

I genuinely can’t see rowe fetching £20m . He had a good game against us I suppose but seen him a few times, and he looked average in a few games, subbed off in the last match I watched before he got injured.

Yep, tinpot and stupid (there's no winning by making this claim with 11 games to go)

it's correct but we could finish 25/30 points ahead of them but end up 3rd, lose in the play offs and they could go up

that would make the points difference meaningless and wouldnt exactly be the turning point the OP envisages

Thats why I'd rather leave comment like this until the end of season

in meantime I'm not really that bothered what the budgies do

All fair points - it's the 'whatever happens' and 'tipping point' that I think me and others disagree is appropriate...yet!

I took it he meant the turning point in terms of the quality of the teams. A 20 point gap suggests our team does now have a lot more quality than theirs.

Your playoffs scenario could happen but that's a different point IMO.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
