Moving on to tonight 09:29 - May 17 with 3198 views | GlasgowBlue | What are we wanting? Saints dominating the game but going into the final minute of time added on with just a one goal lead. WBA equalise with the last kick of the game. WBA go on to hammer Saints in extra time followed by a Russell Martin meltdown live on Sky.

Moving on to tonight on 09:40 - May 17 with 2480 views | gainsboroughblue | It's only the Martin factor that bothers me about Saints winning. I've never minded Southampton as a club. Had some great battles with them over the years and were a staple of the old First Division when I was growing up watching Town. Wallace, Moran, Holmes, Nichol, Armstrong etc etc. Had some good trips down there over the years too. The Dell was an, erm...interesting ground and St Mary's is one of the better new-ish stadiums. Probably helps that it isn't built on an out of town retail park.

Moving on to tonight on 09:51 - May 17 with 2377 views | Radlett_blue | I think WBA are clearly the weakest of the 3 remaining contenders so from a Town point of view, I would prefer them to prevail. Russell Martin does behave like an idiot fairly often, but that doesn't particularly bother me.

My dear old dad, God rest, was a lifelong Saints fan and my first three years as a football fan was at the Dell watching Ron Davies, Mick Channon and Terry Payne. But a) I want Leeds up for another northern away day, b) desperate for us to get Flynn Downes back here and c) detest Russell Martin and his salty post match interviews.

Moving on to tonight on 10:40 - May 17 with 2133 views | Bossy | I really want WBA to win. Then I want WBA to get a really boring 1-0 win vs Leeds at Wembley. I could not believe the Leeds fans were sarcastically singing "Leeds are falling apart again" when they have a final to play. Unbelievable. They were all dancing around, smiling, goofing off in the dugout before full time… they were exactly like this when they beat Middlesborough and then lost 4-0 to QPR the very next match. Everyone is saying how they're "back", pundits, commentators and fans have such short memories. The fact is, Wagner set up really predictably, almost the same as they did in the first leg and Farke set is team up to completely slice through this tactic and it worked. It would be hilarious to me if they then lost in the final.

WBA win - frees us up to start seeing availability and likelihood of Adam Armstrong, Flynn Downes and Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Not suggesting we sign all 3 of them, but wouldn't be surprised if we get 1 if Saints don't go up

Yeah. I'm no fan of the self appointed tactical genius of the Championship. Especially when his football is actually inflexible and pretty much just football by numbers. KM's streets ahead of him as a coach, leader, motivator and from what I've seen a person too. I've no issue with the club at all (except that they released that conspiracy theory nutter Le Tissier into the world!). [Post edited 17 May 2024 11:15]

I'm more enamoured with walker peters for right back if we could get him a right sided Leif with fewer assists but pacy, athletic with a good engine

Moving on to tonight on 12:18 - May 17 with 1908 views | mylittletown | Southampton - decent ground, one of the best 'replacement' grounds, fans OK, easyish trip. WBA - Proper ground, good fans, easyish trip Leeds - Sh1te ground, arguably the most unpleasant fans in England, longer but easy trip I think that WBA would be the best result for us, Soton not a disaster. Really it is all about who is most likely to beat Leeds.
