You've fired up the wrong version of FM, 4 of those players are over 31 now and on massive contracts.
I also don't think the logic follows that because we are paying McKenna more we will spend the amount you are implying. We may well do and you may be correct but until we see those first signings we have no evidence to support the fact that we would spend massive money on someone like McTominay (not that he would even come here anyway).
It's going to be an interesting and exciting few months.
