Now KM is staying we can now look forward to new signings. So who do you want.
I'm not 100% sure what can be seen as realistic or unrealsitc. But if we are paying a manager 100k a week then I've not clue what the bar is with players. But also if rumours are correct regarding KM contract, we really don't wanna be going down with that sort of figure on the books so we imo are going to see some big signings.
So..
GK... Pope Cb. Maguire Cm. Sheaf 10. Hutchinson loan Striker callum Wilson Lw. Sarmiento perm Striker. Moore Midfielder Mctominay
At least half that list is bonkers. I'd like Omari back, will probably have to be a loan but I'm okay with that. Sheaf would be decent at the right price or Hamer from Sheffield United. Sarmiento but only on a permanent I'd be happy with too. Latte Lath looked quality second half of last season so would be very happy to see us go in for him, or possibly Delap as more of a project if we're confident Hirst can be first choice.
If we’re looking at bringing in Prem experience at the back what about Callum Chambers or Tyrone Mings from Villa? One at the back for the future could be Charlie Hughes at Wigan (think we were scouting him a while ago). Will we be looking at bringing in some ‘project’ players from lower league to coach up to standard and gradually assimilate into the team over the long term? Was impressed with Jay Matete a couple of seasons ago when he went toe-to-toe with Captain Sam (and lost). Been injured a lot since went to Sunderland though. Read that we were interested in Chris Conn-Clarke too but know little about him Would love to see Sheaf or Ampadu come in
Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Mings won't be ready for the new season (IMO)
Sheaf is one I think we're all agreed on, Downes will be at Southampton again next year, think they'll get that deal done as he's so important to Martin.
Rodon or Ampadu are two that I think we'd perhaps be interested in, certainly Ampadu for the character traits.
I have doubts on Rutter and Summerville, best in the league on their day by some distance, but would want them to be 'tougher'.
Jack Clarke perhaps too difficult to make hapeen from Sunderland, but should be on our list.
Jaden Philogene s an interesting one.
Obviously Omari....we know he's getting better.
Dara O'Shea from Burnley looks decent too. (at the level we'll be shopping)

Aside from securing those who were on loan again (Hutchinson, Sarmiento, Moore), looking at Luton, Sheffield United, Burnley and fringe Prem players is likely our method. We will probably sign 1 or 2 from Championship or up-and-coming youngsters too.
It will be interesting to see what we do and whether we start to look abroad for players with no experience in this country before. Time will tell.
Keeping our best players will be as important as signing new ones.
Szmodics,Blackburn Greaves Hull Hutchinson Chelski Johnson West Ham Sheaf Coventry Latte Middlesbrough Doughty Luton Hudson-Odi Forest And a goal keeper possibly

Probably unrealistic but:
Matt O'Riley from Celtic Archie Gray from Leeds Omari from Chelsea
I think I saw Gray being linked with Bayern, although all these rumours are blurring into one.
I keep seeing Rushworh’s name pop up as a keeper. He’s a brilliant shot stopper, but not good with his feet, so doesn’t seem to fit at all. Unless Kieran’s team can work their magic and turn him into a footballer.

To add to the dreams and ex players, derision incoming no doubt.
But Trevoh Chalobah tipped to leave Chelsea valued at £13m. Wants to play European football and Barca linked, so unlikely but... Better fit than Maguire for sure.

Omari Sarmiento Whittaker Carvalho Philogene Jack Clarke Summerville
These are players that particularly impressed me last season so Omari plus one or two of them? I can’t see much point in nosing around PL scrapings unless you can find an experienced ex-top level player like Wark for the defence.
As long as the characters they get are right and fit with the club ethics and team spirit I’m not fussed who they are.
Sargent from Norwich would be good, just to annoy them. We could always send him on loan to a rival Championship club and watch him score against them.
