Agreed. Also the fact we signed him from Fleetwood, at what 27 years old, and he hadn't really been close to playing consistent championship football in his career. To then be a crucial player in a promotion winning championship team and off to the Prem is an incredible story and testament to his hard work and of course KMs coaching [Post edited 3 Jun 2024 9:05]

We miss him when he's out injured, nobody else can play that position like he can, what he contributes to the team. Sadly there are numbskulls about who don't appreciate that because of an innate bias against players from what they judge to be non league clubs.
