Omari £30m? on 11:07 - Jun 4 with 5961 views | portmanking | Well it's nonsense anyway, as Chelsea paid £3m to Arsenal for him, so he didn't cost nothing.
Omari £30m? on 11:07 - Jun 4 with 5965 views | Dennyx4 | Chelsea were after £50m for Borja in January, but nobody offered anywhere near that, and he then ended up on loan to Fulham. Personally, don’t see that Omari is worth £30m yet, but do wonder whether Chelsea’s valuation, may make the transfer harder to do.

Exactly that! If the last 2-3 weeks with KM has made us learn anything, agents/clubs will push their own agendas via the press even more than i certainly ever believed previously. Seems telling that Stuttgart are the apparent favourites for his signature. I can't see that they or anyone is paying 30m for him or even 25m myself. I suspect in a couple of weeks time, that fee will come down towards 20m mark with Chelsea appearing to need the sale to generate profit for FFP.

I don't think any of us know exactly what Kieran's agent did, but it seems to me that he got an excellent result for his client, and assuming he was fanning the flames of possible moves to Brighton, Man U and Chelsea, that seems to be the obvious strategy to raise Kieran's stock, and also raise his wage at Town. I'm honestly unconvinced he was doing anything other than doing what was in Kieran's best interests. Doesn't make him a saint, sure, but I don't see how there's any separate agenda.
Omari £30m? on 11:42 - Jun 4 with 5527 views | RegencyBlue | No chance we, or anyone else, pay that at this stage of his career. If it’s true it’s Chelsea’s opening gambit. He’ll go for a lot less than that if he goes.

I see Omari being sold with clauses due to his potential. Probably could get him for £20mill up front but with some add-ons such as a sell-on clause or such.

Think it makes it clear they want to sell him, assuming it's Chelsea putting it out there, and they're touting for interest. If it's his agent, then it suggests OH wants to leave Chelsea.

He must also have a say in where he'd like to go? No point excepting a bid of £30m if he doesn't want to go there...

agree with the first para. Win/win, two way street. Agents/ clubs need the life blood of publicity, online/trad press need to fill the columns. Doesn't seem to matter whether it is realistic or not.

I've always thought it was very much an outsider other than on loan. I think bigger clubs with more money will want him.

£30m seems incredibly steep, £15m would be more realistic

15m would be a bargain if you look at the price other top Championship players are sold for these days. Sara being linked with 20-25m move, Rowe 20m+ etc. It'll take a min of 20m you'd have thought.

Let's hope Omari's time on loan at the club had the same impact on him as it had on Hirst, and he tells Chelsea there's only one place he wants to go

Rowe £20m+ is a hilarious budgie over-estimation, I mean way over-estimation. The kid's got something but he lacks so much in his game. £6m as it stands I would say.

Omari £30m? on 13:34 - Jun 4 with 3923 views | BloomBlue | Chelsea will buy Summerville from Leeds, they're just trying to offset that cost. Probably hopeful Town become desperate, but they will eventually agree a fee less than £30m, more likely to be near £20m
Omari £30m? on 21:42 - Jun 4 with 3147 views | NIblue | As good as Omari is, 30m is unrealistic for him. You can’t blame Chelsea for trying their luck, but 15-20m sounds about right to me. Chelsea themselves bought Cole Palmer for little over £40m at the start of last season, massive difference in profile to Omari.

Arsenal apparently have 50% sell on fee so no benefit for Chelsea to sell for under 20 million minimum

I suspect that's an aspirational figure. I'd guess £15m plus add-ons taking it to £25m-ish will probably be nearer the mark.
