What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 19:33 - Jul 16 with 3402 views | Radlett_blue | He wasn't much of a regular last season. While he was an effective impact sub, I think we need to be looking at players who can improve our starting XI or put pressure on the incumbents.

What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 19:37 - Jul 16 with 3337 views | FrimleyBlue | Honestly I preferred him to broady. Had the ability to score important goals. Had the tricks. But also loved to get stuck in and track back something I don't feel broady enjoys as much. I'm surprised we haven't got him in already tbh.

Would have loved to get him back, but I guess that ship has sailed as he would be here by now you would think.

Like Hutchinson, I thought he just got better and better as the season went on. I certainly wouldn't mind him back here again. But with that said, I expect we will be looking for signings with a bit more prem experience from now on.
What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 19:40 - Jul 16 with 3316 views | Illinoisblue | It’s a yes from me. Lot of talent and lot of potential. (No idea if he’s available or would come back)

What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 19:43 - Jul 16 with 3297 views | LegendofthePhoenix | When you see how much Hutch improved after 5 months of McKenna's coaching, just think what could have happened with Jezza. Get him back and we may well see the same trajectory with him as with Hutch. Its a yes from me.

He's vastly superior to the majority of our retained players and has proved he has some metal about him when it comes to scoring important goals. The bloke oozes class. Probs not as easy as it was given there’s a new man in charge.

We did according to the journo who broke the story, but was never spoken about by the club. If we actually had one, you would think there is an expiry date on it.

What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 20:25 - Jul 16 with 2863 views | Freddies_Ears | Might be good enough one day, but with only 2 loans permitted from other Prem clubs, we can't afford to babysit maybes. He didn't show the discipline or desire that we need.
I'd take him back.... on 20:27 - Jul 16 with 2836 views | Bloots | ...ideally on a perm, but suspect we'd only have the option of a loan. I think his abilities would be more suited to the Prem than The Champ to be honest. The less physical, more technical style of the Prem would help, plus he'd get a lot more protection from refs and we could even benefit from a few VAR decisions when he's twisting away in the box. Seems a no brainer for one of the Prem loan spots to me.

Yes please. I watched all his games at COPA America and he looked very impressive even against Argentina, arguably the best team in the world . (True until proven otherwise.)

What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 20:34 - Jul 16 with 2730 views | Zx1988 | In a heartbeat. His development from January to May, to my mind at least, rather mirrored Hutchinson's development from August to December. If McKenna had had him for a whole season, we'd have ended up with the two best wide attackers in the Championship. Assuming we have the option to 'force' a second year, I'd be more than happy for us to use one of our two PL loan spots on him, or even push the boat out to try and sign him permanently.

What are the feelings of getting Sarmiento back (n/t) on 20:34 - Jul 16 with 2720 views | Whos_blue | It's a yes from me. I thought he was a bit of a luxury player when he first arrived, but he got better with every appearance. Towards the end it was very hard to put the case for Broady ahead of him.

I assume Brighton wouldn’t sell him to us unless we really overpaid. Suits their model and we potentially would benefit them by having him to take points off teams, but unable to play against them. As much as I love Broadhead he does need competition and I worry he will get injured again, compared to others. Jezza seems to add something and helps with continuity.
