Whilst I agree I will point out that anti Zionist and antisemitic are not the same. |
Zionism is the belief that the Jewish people have a safe haven in their ancestral homeland. Opposing Zionism is denying the right of Israel to exist. The IHRA definition of antisemitism specifically gives the example “ Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination”.
But to expand on this further.
1. The majority of Jews in this country specifically define as Zionist.
2. A significant percentage of Jews hold beliefs that would lead “anti-Zionists” to classify them as Zionist.
3. Finchley has a large Jewish population and was specifically targeted by “anti Zionists”

As I said in another thread, use the word Zionist all of the time it becomes dehumanising Zionists. So that when 1200 Jews are next raped, murdered, beheaded, burned alive and mutilated in their homeland , people, can shrug their shoulders and say “well it’s just Zionist colonial settlers” rather than Jews. Well they changed their Tac didn't they, after seeing this Daily Mail at my Father in Laws house, and reading the 'opinion' piece by Sarah Vine where she had no actual research on the cause of the riots but wrote at length how Starmer was losing control, too many migrants were arriving and people had 'buyers regret' about Labour!!
