If the rumours are true then we are about to get one hell of a player! I live in Stockholm and go to all of Sweden's home matches. Everytime he's played he conducts what goes on around him. He's tall and athletic. Wins duals that are 30/70 not in his favour. Great passer of the ball and carries it direct and at speed. Fantastic for breaking the lines and getting the opposition to pedal backwards. This would be a quality signing.

Get it done!!!

I've never seen him play. Based on your description he sounds like a good Panutche Camara?

Presumably he's seen as a central midfield partner to Morsy, with Massimo and Taylor offering the cover from the bench. We're super light in that area so very encouraging to see us strengthen, wouldn't be surprised if we added another as well if they right player became available.

I don't know much about him.

Surely a concern would be he failed a medical at Brentford? I know different clubs have different test and level of risk etc.

Add Phillips to that and we would be well stocked in CM

Think it was paper work that failed and not the medical.

Been looking at him and notice he's in and out of the Napoli team.

That said, Napoli appear to play a different formation every week with different players in different positions too!!

Pro-active pronuncoation guide:

Jens starts with the y sound as in 'yes', and rhymes with 'pence', rather than with 'pens'.

(Mind yoi, i thought 'Leif' would be pronounced Swedish-style to rhyme with 'safe' until he told us otherwise!)

Phils report states he failed a medical!

On the face of it an odd move by us.

You pronounce his name like this...

Yens Kai Yuster

A friend of mine who works with the Swedish u21s text me saying that the paperwork breakdown was Brentford trying to Negotiate a lower buying price and getting Napoli to pay a higher percent of his wages.

This is just what he's been told. Don't shoot the messenger.

Not that odd if im right and it's an investment thing

According to his injury history, there is potentially an issue here
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jens-cajuste/verletzungen/spieler/468066

However, short term it might be workable and we've seen how we've managed to make the most out of Axel and managed to get clarke through a season with his issues.

a niche perspective

Just a loan though, so nothing to lose. Looks ideal on the video. What's not to like?

From what I’ve seen of him, think Philip Billing - fellow Scandi.

In that case his terrace nickname absolutely NEEDS to be Bertie (as in Wooster which rhymes with Worcester).

Hopefully he'll be well provided for by Greaves.

Could be one of those where both answers are true? eg. Deal was agreed but concerns found during medical led to Brentford trying to renegotiate terms and the deal collapsing?

Sounds like a direct description of Morsy to me! But could also play with him

In terms of pedigree at the top level, he would appear to be ahead of anyone we've signed since the takeover.

Agreed - been hoping this would come off since we were linked. Exactly what we need. This should put a few minds at rest.

You may well be right, that sort of thing has definitely happened in the past.
