Medicals aren't a pass or fail. Sometimes things crop up that mean clubs want to renegotiate (that could be fees or other clauses). That delays the paperwork.

There was a concerning issue with the medical which meant we had to step back and re look at the deal. I’m not sure where it as now. But there is a reason he wasn’t announced yesterday like was meant to be. |  |

Given it’s potentially a £30m + investment and our new transfer record, well, at present, I expect they are being very cautious and looking at that ACL intensely. Expect he’s had an MRI and it’s shown something that needs more thought would be my guess.
