Looks like he's deleted all ITFC content off his instagram... an unhappy player?

She already said how the detail was known, but it was deleted by admin, ( Understandably)

I don't think it's true, but felt you needed to know that bit as otherwise their original post just looks off in the way you've pointed out.

I haven't seen what Phil deleted. Not Broadhead's mum surely? If she's shared exact details of phone calls between her son and his boss on social media then she's a fecking idiot.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

No. Not Broadhead’s mum. It was something like player X’s girlfriend’s sister’s dog groomer’s brother’s wife’s pension advisor.

Good. As I suspected, it's nonsense then. Shame on Arnie for spreading such obvious bowlocks.

Without wanting to go all Naitland Miles…. His mine says he’s been fit for 5 weeks

Yeah, not really new information. He played for wales two weeks ago and McKenna said he was fit before that. Can't even say with confidence that he isn't favored right now - looked like he was about to come on at the weekend.

Iv Read with Heinz grade sources we are linked with Chilwell along with crystal palace, so my crystal ball/made up input would be that Leif is going to move up making Broadhead wven further back in the pecking order.

That being said iv been itching fpr him to come back i want him Szmodics and Omari as the 3.

Gives you Clarke and Broady for the left, Omari amd Ogbene for the right Szmodics and Chaplin for the centre. Burns fighting for a place when Ogbene is fit.

I wasn't sure he'd receive many minutes this season because he's our slowest player and we're all about the energy, but I'd hoped to see him more than we have done! He's vying with two of the Championship's best performers though - Clarke flew under the radar more given Sunderland's average season, but he finished as the 2nd best player in the league in Whoscored.com's player rankings, 3rd best in Fotmob's (two of the bigger football data websites, the first of which is used by Sky to produce their teams of the week). Sunderland fans were gutted to lose their talisman, as much as they don't look to be missing him at the moment! It's stiff competition for the L10 slot.

Wouldn't be surprised if he goes out on Loan in Jan, clearly not in McKenna's plans

Yeah I’m sure he’s highly thought of on the ball, but you’ve got to think his ability to press and get back into team shape has something to do with it, particularly in away games.

Omari and Szmodics put some serious miles in yesterday.

Didn't look like he was there at all. I saw Al Hamadi so I assume he was the spare man that travelled down in the case of a late injury, but Broadhead wasn't there at all. Quite telling unless he was there but didn't come over.

I wouldnt read too much into it. People were writing Harry Clarke off a few weeks ago until he got selected. Broady is probably down the pecking order a bit in terms of selection but a couple of injuries and he'll be getting games.

yes, a shame but not a surprise, axel was always coming back in if fit, chappers and burns are ahead of him for the forward roles, so i guess it was a straight choice between him and h clarke for the final bench place.

would personally have gone for broadhead>h clarke for this game, but we don't know the fitness situations.

as other posters have said, a few injuries and (like h clarke & burgess) he'll come right back into contention

Burns must’ve made it onto the bench with a knock ahead of Broadhead, given the Wales announcement.

I doubt it means anything.

But if this is a sign of grumpiness then he's not being very mature is he and it's not the way to get back into the managers plans. Prem footie is all about the squad and for any player to show serious discontent at not being picked isn't a good look. he was injured at the start of the season and has to force his way into the team - which is harder because of the upgrades that KM brought in before the season starts.

As others have said - if he's good enough he'll get his chance. if he's not prepared to fight and wait until then then it's best if he moves on.

To be fair(er) to Arnie this rumour was brought up by one of her mates on another Town forum. On 2 September when the window had just closed. She's pretty much repeated it, but the original story didn't mention the player's name.
Just saying she didn't make it up, but just repeating it. I didn't really believe it at the time as it didn’t sound like Mckenna and Broadhead was seemingly injured.

To be honest, the most startling news in this whole thread is the revelation that apparently there's 'another Town forum'... WTF?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I am surprised he hasn’t featured at all as a sub though. Jack Clarke consistently seems to be the preferred option although I’m not really sure he’s done anything to justify that yet.

I believe Broadhead has the quickness of feet, thought and skill to do alright in the PL. He is a cracking player. Scores all types goal too. He will get his chance at some point.

The only doubt I have is whether he is robust enough for it, clearly he’s not first choice but he will play at some point unless he wants to go in January.

I wouldn't read much into that, centre-backs often don't make the bench and I think we had more cover in Broadhead's position than Burns'. There were probably contingency plans to bring Burns on for Johnson had Johnson struggled for form or fitness, which he didn't, or if we were chasing the game, which we weren't.

I wouldn't call it writing him off, there's a pecking order like you say and an injury or two changes the dynamic for a player. He was with the Wales set up Sunday evening so he wasn't part of the squad at all for us Sunday.

He has been fit for a while though and not played a minute. I doubt we'll be actively looking to move him in January on unless something has happened behind the scenes, but he may want to play regular football again.

Even if we did go down, he'd still be behind Szmodics and Clarke next season, although I'd say it's unlikely we keep hold of Hutchinson so I guess there's a one in one out scenario possibly.
