I remember something previously in penalty shoot outs where GKs getting yellow cards don’t actually count towards suspensions as it isn’t in the game.
I wonder if that is the case for post game yellows as well? It isn’t for post game reds but may be for yellows |  |

Hopefully we'll get a nice early, official, statement either from the Club or the Premier League, confirming or denying (a) that he was issued with a yellow card, (b) why, and (c) whether that means he is suspended (which frankly you would expect it would).
I didn't see Delap being issued with a yellow and there seems to be no mention of it on any media outlet report of the match, let alone properly official channel (such as the PL website to which you refer). Which all seems very odd, given that the Club appear to have confirmed it to our friends at TWTD. |
I just rewatched the end of the game and the camera panned in on the bloke with the beard and glasses talking to Delap, and Liam looking distressed and clearly saying '... for what?'

There's nothing in the FA Handbook that I can see that suggests yellows after full time don't count towards totting up.
Seems to have been some confusion about whether he was carded or not and I guess the article was written on incomplete information. | |

Delap wasn’t anywhere near Taylor seeing as he was on the bench.
The yellow is now showing up.
