Looks like Delap not suspended 07:34 - Dec 15 with 8742 views | itfcjoe | https://www.premierleague.com/news/4110053 I remember something previously in penalty shoot outs where GKs getting yellow cards don’t actually count towards suspensions as it isn’t in the game. I wonder if that is the case for post game yellows as well? It isn’t for post game reds but may be for yellows

Looks like Delap not suspended on 07:53 - Dec 15 with 6021 views | Swansea_Blue | Post-match yellows obviously count, as Aït-Nouri‘s yellow is on there. Make me wonder whether Delap was even carded. Has it been confirmed officially anywhere?

He was suspended based on the yellow in the march.

But he was booked during the game as well (which was enough to take him to a suspension I believe even before he got the second yellow afterwards)

He wasn't yellow carded in the match, was he? Ah, sorry, you mean the other fella. [Post edited 15 Dec 2024 8:01]

I don't think Ait Nouri's does count, he's banned was he got a red. It states he's still on 4 yellows and still close to a ban, if it counted he would've been on 5 yellows, would now be over the threshold and wouldn't still be walking the tightrope on his return.

No, the PL site confirmed Ait-Nouri is suspended due to the red card and remains on 4 bookings as the second yellow means his previous yellows are no longer wiped. Must admit, I had no idea the last bit was a rule!

That’s a post match red, and not a post match yellow though

It doesn’t read that way. Sounds like he’s suspended based on the second yellow being counted towards a red. So being post-match still counts. But then because he got a red, neither yellow counts towards the 5 yellow suspension threshold. “Having picked up a yellow card during Wolverhampton Wanderers' 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town, Rayan Ait-Nouri was shown a second yellow after the final whistle following a pitchside confrontation, resulting in a red card. The Algerian will miss the contest against Leicester City next weekend and remains on four yellow cards for the season, as neither of the bookings count towards the yellow card suspension threshold.” All clear as mud lol.

It counted yesterday as it was his second and therefore was issued with a red.

Looks like Delap not suspended on 08:45 - Dec 15 with 5181 views | HighgateBlue | Hopefully we'll get a nice early, official, statement either from the Club or the Premier League, confirming or denying (a) that he was issued with a yellow card, (b) why, and (c) whether that means he is suspended (which frankly you would expect it would). I didn't see Delap being issued with a yellow and there seems to be no mention of it on any media outlet report of the match, let alone properly official channel (such as the PL website to which you refer). Which all seems very odd, given that the Club appear to have confirmed it to our friends at TWTD.

Yellows don’t count towards your yellow total if you get two and so a red. The reason he’s on 4 is not because of in-game vs post game

As per Phil, the club have confirmed the yellow card. I’m expecting the yellow card to count towards the five for season.

Everything online suggests yellow cards after the final whistle don’t count towards suspensions.

Looks like Delap not suspended on 09:36 - Dec 15 with 4438 views | Guthrum | Is that not because Ait Nouri's two yellows are subsumed into the red, which leads to an automatic suspension anyway and therefore do not count towards the number for the season? However, Delap's was just a yellow, so still would?
