Don't know if it's already been discussed at all... 15:48 - Dec 17 with 1990 viewshoppy

Just wondered what thoughts are of the seemingly increasing use of JUST the Suffolk Punch on its own rather than the full ITFC Crest? It's been used on Stadium graphics (above the tunnel as one example) on the artists visuals of the training ground proposals and on staff uniform amongst others... Our full badge is very distinctive amongst club badges and not sure if this waters that down at all?

I'm more annoyed we don't still use the blue and yellow badge from the 70s - but then I'm now officially an old fart who gets more annoyed than I should when someone brings me pub food on a bit of slate or wood rather than a plate.

Two tier branding?

I quite like it.

I want one of the pin badges that Ashton etc wear.

I like that it’s quite distinctive, plain and simple yet still easily associated with ITFC.

I noticed Ashton and Schwartz were wearing badges with just the horsy at the Miami pow wow.. I did wonder if they were moving to it. I hope they keep the full badge as it is.

I can see them moving to just the Suffolk Punch and getting ripped off by a graphic designer for a minor tweak. You know what these designer types are like...

I wonder if it has more to do with corporate identity rather than a change to the actual badge.

We could go the Wolverhampton route and have punches on the pitch.

No issue with it at all as long as the badge on the kit stays the same

I hope they don’t go that route with it, even on a third shirt

That being on the shirt again was the highlight of the 20/21 season!

Given their focus on branding around the stadium and the excellent upgrades, I find quite remarkable the number of different shades of blue used around the place, as well as the fonts. The new signage at the entrance is totally different from what's used on the back of Sir Alf and above the reception area. We must have about 15 variants of font typefaces—it totally grinds my gears.

Lovely that I can now moan about things like this, now the football side is unbelievably good and we are led by a world-class team off the pitch.

Nothing new in this

I bought a blackwatch tartan shirt from club shop late 80s that just had the punch on it.

I like the punch on its own, think it looks great, so much so I had it inked on me.
