Several people I know have stayed there. Slightly mixed reviews regarding the staff and cleaning regime (or rather lack of it). Looks nice, but like I say, mixed reviews. |  |

I’ll be honest, I find it alien taking a break in the sun at Christmastime. And I say this as somebody who lived in the Canaries for two years.
My Mrs had just finished uni for Christmas and wanted a week in the sun, but I wanted to go somewhere cold with Christmas markets. So I won that particular argument. I love this time if the year and the whole build up to Christmas.. |  |

Thanks mate will do. Went to the marina today. We are little 2 minutes from it. Wednesday market. Lovely place. Jungle vibes.. what sort of place is it.. Will stick it on the to do calender.

Went to Jungle Vibes but it was shut for the day
We like the little cake and cocktails bar - think its called Natura - much better service than at the Oasis although the Oasis is a lovely setting
If you've got a car Puerto Calero is worth a visit - lovely marina and decent restaurants
And if you like seafood head for Playa Quemada |  |
