I'm not sure what the evidence is for this, but we seem to be one of the worst teams at keeping the ball in the corner. It feels like we lose it quite quickly.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. No issues with the shot at all. However, does Leif need to run the length of the pitch at 2-1 up when defending a lead? I've used the word 'naivety' about us this season for decisions which you don't get away with in the Prem and game management is something we need to learn on the job and quickly.
If Leif isn't trying to recover from the run, perhaps he doesn't stick the lazy leg out.
Once again though, we could just as easily blame not taking good chances as opposed to the penalties! Szmodics misses a good one, Leif blazed over and Broadhead as well (Albeit that was a good save)
No such thing as a bad away point but I felt gutted for Walton, Wolfie, Greaves and O'shea yesterday who put in a masterclass of a defensive performance. Johnson was also excellent. |  | | |
