I appreciate he's not at a European club yet, but I never understand why full internationals from the Brazilian league are such comparatively good value.
He's a young striker, playing and scoring for the Brazilian champions, who is a full Brazilian international and has scored for Brazil this season. And he's said to be within our price range!
I'm not saying this makes it any less true than it may or may not already be, but it intrigues me that the Sun for example say he's rated at £21m, when he'd presumably be worth triple that if he was already playing in one of Europe's top leagues. You'd think that being picked up front for Brazil would allay fears about only having produced the goods in a supposedly lesser league. |  | | |
