Iheanacho in talks? on 18:15 - Jan 9 by pointofblue | He won’t be coming as back up. He’ll at least be expecting to take Hirst’s role as first one to be called on after Delap. |
How do these conversations pan out exactly? That’s not how football works.

Iheanacho in talks? on 18:16 - Jan 9 by Vic | A wily old 30 something who’s been replaced by younger players but can hold the ball up for 20 mins, curl in a couple of purlers and has played stacks of games in the prem would do me. No idea who that would be though! |
Based on that description, Danny Ings.

West Ham without Bowen and Antonio, so no chance unfortunately.

Iheanacho in talks? on 18:33 - Jan 9 by Wallingford_Boy | Couldn’t get in the leicester team, strike rate average, much better around (many we’ve been linked with). Other than that…. Yeah no reason! Lol Saying “he’s better than Al Hamadi” isn’t really justification either! |
He was excellent at City, then lost his way in a system that didnt suit him. If we got him, I would be confident that KM would turn him back into an effective player.

Iheanacho in talks? on 19:31 - Jan 9 with 2071 views | Garv | On paper a good signing but I've never rated him. Always thought he was quite painful to watch and totally overrated. Mind you, McKenna could sign Rory Fallon and I'd be behind it.

Iheanacho in talks? on 10:18 - Jan 10 with 714 views | OldFart71 | There has to be one eye on the Championship. So whoever we get as cover for Delap needs to be able to step up as the main man. The management at ITFC seem confident of retaining Premier League status otherwise why would they bring in a £20 million player in the form of Philogene and still be looking for another forward. But then Leicester, Everton, Palace and West Ham will all have the same idea. I have deliberately left Saints out as I think they are gone. The thinking must be that given the trajectory of Delap that he would wipe out a huge proportion of this seasons outlay. Then there's any parachute payments should the worst happen. We are currently the best team at the bottom end of the table, but things can change very quickly.
