Hmmmm I'm not convinced by him, if he's one of 2 fine, but I think that's unlikely, so as the only no.9 to come in for Delap, I'd be very concerned. Hirst, who is good enough, we can't rely on unfortunately.

He is very talented. A really good player. But like one or two others at Leicester at the time, when they struggled did he look like he was giving his all; was rolling his sleeves up; leaving it all out there for the team? Nope. He looked like a ‘nothing to do with me’ merchant. His attitude stank (from what I saw on tv). He wasn’t the only one but that isn’t the point. It’s a no from me.
Iheanacho in talks? on 18:10 - Jan 9 with 6114 views | Vaughan8 | I think people misunderstand the January transfer window. Its very unlikely we'll get a BIG signing. We aren't going to get anyone as good as Delap, and if we are, they're going to be £40m+. Really we just need someone who can do a job for 30mins at the end of a game and is capable of stepping in for a few games too. I don't want a pile on, but someone better than AAH is needed straight away.

He won’t be coming as back up. He’ll at least be expecting to take Hirst’s role as first one to be called on after Delap.

Philogene is the big signing I would suggest

A wily old 30 something who’s been replaced by younger players but can hold the ball up for 20 mins, curl in a couple of purlers and has played stacks of games in the prem would do me. No idea who that would be though!

Tall and tan and young and lovely The guy called Iheanacho goes shooting And when he scores Each one of us shouts "GOAL!!"

Couldn’t get in the leicester team, strike rate average, much better around (many we’ve been linked with). Other than that…. Yeah no reason! Lol Saying “he’s better than Al Hamadi” isn’t really justification either!

Iheanacho in talks? on 18:42 - Jan 9 with 5061 views | Dubtractor | I'll be honest and say that he'd not be on my wishlist. Never been a prolific scorer, and when I saw him for Leicester last year his work rate was pretty questionable, so just doesn't seem the right fit for what we need.

Really?? Hirst had a better season in the championship last year and I'd take a fit Hirst over Iheancho anyday
Iheanacho in talks? on 18:59 - Jan 9 with 4636 views | Cafe_Newman | I think he'd be great at town. He's not a like for like sub for Delap but then I'm not sure we would want him to be. He'd give us other options and would likely work very well with Jaded Billy Jean.
