This board tonight…. 22:14 - Feb 26 with 3913 views44_not_out

A few of those who joined the bandwagon mid 2023 are properly wetting themselves tonight

Disappointed? Without a doubt!

But the overreaction on here is through the roof.

Glad many of you didn’t have to witness us losing at home to Fleetwood.

Cheer up everyone

Thank god for this - can't believe some people's posts. Boys put in a shift and a half tonight and had more possession against a team worth way more than ours. But its all doom and gloom, slating players, managers, coaches etc
I think today's scapegoat is Jaden, who scored two goals and was the BBC's ranked best town player

Nah watched them win promotion to prem at Wembley and for a while before that. Saw them play late 80's and 90's and watched them through the league one dark days and I'm still really annoyed about tonight. It was such an opportunity and we screwed it up due to tactical incompetence

Hi mate

I am currently on the way back from Manchester, expecting to get home at around 2am

Please spare the patronising posts from your living room because some of us are frustrated at making the same mistakes every week

Cheers

I saw us lose at home to Fleetwood. And I saw us get relegated to League One with a team so piss-poor, we were actually aghast when Downes went.

I was there when John Duncan bored all eight thousand of us at home to Stockport on a drizzly Tuesday night. I was there when Mick McGiven put ten men behind the ball for every sh*tty Premier League game he managed.

I've seen fortunes wax and wane with MickMack. I've seen the end of Paul Jewell's anti-football, I've even clapped Paul Lambert. And I'm still bitterly disappointed with us tonight, bitterly so.

It's just an outpouring of disappointment because people know we've wasted an opportunity to claw back some hope.

Most thought it was done before tonight but going into the game I was actually really confident. With how poor we are at home I can't think of many better fixtures to play this season when you need a pick me up than Man Utd at OT, as silly as that sounds.

Then after going ahead and being in the position we were at half time you're even more confident. But to concede that third and then offer nothing in attack, it's so frustrating.

Fleetwood scored such a flukey goal that night, by the way.

Really not begging for up votes. Just being realistic.

Don’t worry, there’ll be games next season where you can get your half and half scarf x

Had a season ticket throughout the dead years mate and still have the objective thought capacity to say tonight was a dreadful a feeble effort. It's OK to say we played crap and the manager was dire without wanting anybody killed and the club razed to the ground.

So we should’ve got a point at home to Fleetwood. That will have made my mood better that night!

I saw us go from FA Cup winners flirting with relegation to UEFA cup winners flirting with champions of England to relegation, to John Duncan, to John Lyall and Promotion to the very first Prem to 9-0 at Old Trafford and relegation to Burley and 6 years later Wembley and the Prem to administration and relegation to 20 years of sh!!t management and ownership.

And until tonight have never heard of you.

I like what you did there - in reality, we're all a mix of both with different opinions.

That is hard for some to comprehend though.
