Shock as he loses his head.

Probably get a proper ban this time.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Didn’t leave the pitch straight away though and remonstrated with the fourth official, they’ll look at that and add an extra game at least I think, especially taking into account his previous this season.

That it was 3 separate actions as well (initial slap, kick while he was down, headbutt once he was up) will probably see it considered worse than a more forceful single action.

I was doing the in play suspended on the game while doing the racing so watched a good period of it. He absolutely lost the plot.

Definite red

Wolves will get their legal department to start drafting immediately to get him off it.

2 games. He appears to be a special case.

What like elbow in the back of the head and then clawing at someone's face afterwards?

Different (somewhat bizarrely) as that happened after FT so he wasn't sent off during the match.

Cunha wasn't sent off for violent conduct in the game against us though. A red for violent conduct automatically brings at least a 3 game suspension though so he will be missing for a few matches, unless the card gets rescinded, and there's no way that's happening.

Does it really matter? Wolves could lose all remaining games and probably still stay up, we're that bad

What will really p his teammates off is that if he had not been sent of, Doherty would not have taken a pen, and they would have gone through (all other things being equal)

If I was him I would stay away from the keeper , who kept them in the game and got them to pens

Cunha will miss Wolves' games with Everton, southampton & West Ham, which are all ones they would fancy getting something out of.
We really did blow it by losing to Southampton. That's the one that convinced me we're going down.

Even if everything else stayed as it was we'd be just the 2 points behind with Wolves still to play. There'd still be frustration at other recent results but not so much doom and gloom.

Not convinced Cunha being banned will be the silver bullet we're hoping but they're three good games for him to miss from our point of view. Every little thing has to count now.

He had a game suspended from his ban vs us - so shoukd be 4-6 games I reckon

Defo 3 match and possibly 4, which is good.

But from the initial reports I was hoping it was a lot longer.

It depends what the FA charges him with, a charge of improper conduct (E3.1) that would be the second such charge of the season, which could lead to both extended suspension for the individual and the potential of a club fine, including points deduction. Unlikely but possible.

The FA have agreed to hold the disciplinary hearing in 2029.

We’ve blown lots of opportunities. Fulham when we were in control and then went looking for a third on 90 mins springs to mind.

It’s all well and good Cunha missing for them, but we’ve got 6 points (including GD) to make up and I can’t see where those wins are coming from. We look well off the pace now. Who knows though.

The FA usually add a game for a second red in the same season.

McLean Norwich got a 4 game ban for a second red this season, would have been 3 games, but added an extra game for 2 reds in the same season.

I dont think it was suspended. It was reduced. For reasons they never properly justified.

The budgie Sainz got 6 games for spitting, what Cunha did today is worse than that then taking into account his previous record this season should mean it’s several games.

It probably won’t of course due to reasons the FA know best.

Cunha on 20:44 - Mar 1 with 937 viewsBasuco

With at least a four game ban he will not play against us, his failure to leave the pitch may add another game on to that, we really need to make that count for us now and pick up a few points.

nah Im sure he just felt really intimidated by the bigger Bournemouth players who were surrounding him.
