A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... 18:41 - Mar 14 with 3727 views | Bloots | ....not just on here, but a general feeling of "meh" about it. Am I the only one noticing it? Feels like we've reached the point where we've all just about had enough of the Prem to me.

A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 19:00 - Mar 14 with 3022 views | Asa | I was so excited about going to all the Premier League grounds for different reasons. Some the first time I'd been there, others I'd not been for 22 years. There have been some fantastic moments and I expected us to have a season like this, even though I thought we might have a fair few more points, but still be a similar points distance to safety. But I'm now very meh and already looking forward to the Championship. I can't see us getting 7 points let alone 7 more than Wolves and the reality is if they win at Southampton and we fail to win tomorrow it's realistically all over bar the mathematical confirmation bar the greatest escape of all time. I'm really pleased we had the season we did last year. Will live with me forever. More so that my kids got to experience it, see us in the big time and see the best players in the world here. But the Championship feels like home to me and the Premier League just isn't that great all told. If you could promise me we'd be a side up there challenging for Europe then hell yes. But anything below that, a mid-table of nothingess or a relegation battle with all the circus that comes with it - no thanks. I know it's where the owners want to be, a lot of fans, especially the younger ones. but I'm more than at peace with us taking the money from this season, securing the clubs future and being back in the familiar soundings of that awful Goodman and Hinchcliffe.

It's worth noting and I may be corrected here, but I believe the budgies have had around 12 fixtures moved this season already and they have had around 8 fixtures at 12.30 on a Saturday.

I've nothing against the Premier League. I've generally enjoyed it, I just wish we'd picked up more points in recent weeks to make a proper fight of it.

A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 21:44 - Mar 14 with 2354 views | Melford | My brother's a season ticket holder, it's his birthday tomorrow and he's gone fishing instead and given my old man his ticket. I checked out a couple of weeks ago, we are this season's Luton. Give most teams a good game and lose by the odd goal. Cricket season starts in 3 weeks so I'll be off to another forum moaning about how Essex are a batter light and we don't get enough batting points and $$$urrey are the Man City of Cricket

That being said - will be there tomorrow as per usual, hoping to be surprised!

A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 22:13 - Mar 14 with 2181 views | Mark | I will be glad when the season is over. The gap between the promoted sides and the others takes away the excitement near the bottom of the league. I hope we can pick up a few more points so we finish ahead of Leicester, which is a progress over last season and would earn us extra prize money. I am still glad we got promoted for the money to invest in the team of course, plus the parachute money. I look forward to being one of the best sides in the Championship next season, hopefully the best. The prize of Premier League promotion isn't so appealing any more though. Even in the Championship so many games are moved for TV, and the advertising and press areas taking many of the best seats in the stands will stay.

Aye, grinding out a miserable 0-0 draw at Stoke on a miserable winter’s night always reminds me of home! [Post edited 14 Mar 22:41]

A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 23:21 - Mar 14 with 1967 views | FrimleyBlue | I'm trying soooo much to look forward to games. But I just can't. All I can hear is the after game interview. We will take the positives, we were competitive, such small margins, where we've come from, there's still 9 games to go, individually we are improving etc etc That's not a slight on KM. He can't really say much else after each game. But when you can kinda see whats about to happen it's then hard to feel a buzz about it. Then twtd after Boo we didn't win. What a waste of a season. Recruited badly. Phillips isn't worth 150k. Yes he is. No he isn't. Such an entitled lot, look where we've come from, so many negative posters, we've got the best young manager in the game, let's not forget the gap. And thats no slight on the forum either. Basically you are spot on. I think many are fed up and would like it over with. It would be amazing If we did the unthinkable. But if we can't then just end it soon so we can all just relax and look forward to next season.

In a way, it's when everyone thinks we're finished and shrugs that it can be most rewarding. Presser today really good. Let's win tomorrow and make people sit up a bit and notice. COYB
A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 00:20 - Mar 15 with 1831 views | Garv | Two sides to it. If we managed to fluke a win and Wolves lose, they might start getting a bit nervy and it opens the door a crack. At that stage it's back on. But we aren't seeing evidence that we can or might win a game. Against Bournemouth and Leicester we were undone by late equalizers, we aren't even at that stage anymore where we're taking games that late. We managed to scrape a draw at Villa and might have scraped a draw at Palace, but fell short. We look a long way off getting three points sadly.

A palpable lack of interest in tomorrows match..... on 00:42 - Mar 15 with 1788 views | SaffronWaldenBlues | Some refreshingly realistic and sensible contributions on this thread. We ultimately all wanted the fairytale and we’re now numb to the reality of being in a league above our standard. Some are hanging on to opposition suspensions and a fictitious City points deduction but I feel that the majority of us accept we are down now. No shame in it.
