I don't want to get drawn into a long discussion, all I would say is that I don't read Ryorrys or Leitrims message as "lauding" them at all. I read it as acknowledging that there were good points in addition to bad points. |
I was responding to your point: "it is best not to lay into them but don't see anything wrong with people sharing their positive experiences".
That isn't acknowledging there were bad points, it's wanting to airbrush them out. Which, as I said, rather undermines Phil, who has banned them for a reason and after several warnings.
The point of this thread is to cut out the abuse of fellow posters, not to praise one who was banned for abuse. |  |
