Loads left in the corner. And only one block completely sold out.

Not sure how many people are actually left in 25+ now so it might still reach 20+

Tom does an excellent breakdown for each match so he'd have a better idea of that.

Only three more away games to buy for, thank god. Hate the stress of it

Will be interesting what happens next season with the lower allocations

I was thinking about next season and lower allocations.

Maximum no of points - assuming Champ season is chopped off - will be 30. That’s the 19 PL games and Wimbledon in the cup, plus 2 x membership.

Only c1100 could be on the maximum 30 points, with perhaps 1500 on 29 points due to the smaller allocations at Bournemouth and Brentford.

If the bands are 30+, 25+, etc there is gonna be one hell of a scramble in the 25+ category as the numbers in there will surely massively exceed the number of tickets available if allocations are 2k.

The other thing is that the club won’t sell a single new membership if they do maintain the current version as there’s zero chance of tickets other than the likes of Preston and Blackburn which likely get to non-members anyway..

Mm - we'll see. I have a feeling that:

- a reversal in the north/south ratio of games,
- the fact that most of the regulars will have done most of the grounds before (bar maybe Wrexham and Stockport),
- the odd few grounds with 'take as many as you want' away ends as indicated (you can often add Middlesbrough to that list if they're having a bad season and maybe even a couple of others), and
- the fact that not buying a ticket doesn't mean you'll be totally locked out of every other game

means I can't see it being quite so hectic. Of course that may be balanced by an expectation of promotion and the fact this carnival will begin again in 2026/7...

Sky will help when they move our games away to the likes of Preston to a Saturday 12.30 KO.

Plus there are a lot more midweek fixtures, so that will stop a few from attending I'd think.

The short trips in the Premier League have just added extra demand, will be interesting to see how Newcastle sells, will sell out of course but with the season all but over there may be a few who give it a swerve.

Next season assuming Championship is real mixed bag, there are some smaller allocations but Millwall is another who can't afford to turn down good money from 6k travelling fans. I'm thinking you could easily get 10 games next year from a low starting point...places like Stoke are not that appealing in mid-winter (or summer).

Norwich, QPR, Watford etc different matter but even Leicester and Southampton will become a been there, seen that for a lot. Will depend a lot on results.

At least I can get a ticket for Watford (with the home fans ) and they also give me the OAP discount!

There’s also the price to consider as not capped at £30 like the premier league. Wasn’t Leeds almost £50 last season?
I feel that compared to this season supply will be on average a bit more and demand will on average be a bit less (due to the reasons listed)

I’ve previously been able to get to 6-8 away games without a membership and don’t anticipate it being much different next year provided you don’t mind some of the longer hauls like Preston or Blackburn

Exactly. People will get excited for the first few games and it will depend on how we perform but you can't see Wednesday, Burnley etc being a problem.

I remember the days of never having to worry about this stuff. Just buy a ticket if you fancy going. Job done.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I’m expecting (hoping!) interest in away games will drop off a bit. Hopefully it’ll be less than the promotion season.

Premier League isn’t capped next season either… the £30 agreement runs out at the end of this season.

Hopefully they’ll renew it, but given the usual behaviour of the Prem clubs, they’ll either not do it at all or increase it to £40.

It would've been interesting to see the actual number of away fans at Newcastle, had it been moved to midweek due to it being rearranged because of FA Cup involvement.

Burnley on a Tuesday night was my favourite. Two pounds a pint!
Mind you, we missed the first two goals....

3 pints. Fish and chips on the way to the ground and change from a tenner. Love the north.

Alas, I suspect the only way I'm going to get to any more away games is to wait until we're crap again.
