Your worst ITFC take 11:09 - Apr 2 with 3897 views | Linners | As if often the case when you're losing every week, everyone has their own take on the situation. But what's the worst ITFC take you're willing to admit to? I'll go first: I thought Darren Ambrose would get 100 caps for England.
Your worst ITFC take on 11:19 - Apr 2 with 2584 views | WD19 | I thought Sam Parkin would be a goal machine. I also thought Massimo Luongo would be the new Cesc Fabregas when I first saw him.
Your worst ITFC take on 11:23 - Apr 2 with 2567 views | SE1blue | I’ll admit that I thought Marcus Evans was the dawn of a new era, and not the dawn of a new error. I was also excited about the arrival of Paul Hurst.

Your worst ITFC take on 11:34 - Apr 2 with 2483 views | bsw72 | I thought the way we played in the late 70s and early 80s would last forever . . .
Your worst ITFC take on 11:52 - Apr 2 with 2440 views | Steve_M | I got really excited when we signed Stuart Slater.... I still thought Burley would turn us round when he was sacked whereas, in hindsight, we should have made the change in the Summer of 2002. Also thought Mowbray was done as a player when watching him look exceedingly off the pace against Sheffield United in a tv match, so probably late '96. He was just not properly fit.

Your worst ITFC take on 11:31 - Apr 2 by CrayonKing | I thought Lee Durrant was going to be a star |
Me too. Still got a ball where he signed with a gold pen and the rest of the team did it in black... in retrospect I think I now understand why John Wark looked a bit miffed at the time. To be fair I was about 10 and he *did* have excellent hair.
Your worst ITFC take on 11:56 - Apr 2 with 2411 views | Nutkins_Return | I thought Priskin was THE key signing and was going to rip it up and Keane would take us to the prem.

Your worst ITFC take on 12:26 - Apr 2 with 2324 views | Radlett_blue | Dean Bowditch was going to be a top player, so was Jaime Peters. Not really based on reality, unfortunately.

Your worst ITFC take on 12:28 - Apr 2 with 2319 views | Blueschev | I said before the West Brom home game last season that Omari "flatters to deceive". He was arguably our best player for the rest of the season.
Your worst ITFC take on 12:39 - Apr 2 with 2271 views | BlueBadger | That Tommy Oar was going to be the man to take Mick McCarthy's nearly men to the next level.

Your worst ITFC take on 12:43 - Apr 2 with 2251 views | TractorFrog | The 2019/20 squad was good enough to win league one with the right manager. No chance.
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

That season basically fell apart the second people stopped being scared of us and actually implemented so rudimentary tactics. It's quite telling that as a team, we looked significantly worse when La,mbert actually had to get off his arse and actually MANAGE.

Your worst ITFC take on 12:47 - Apr 2 with 2218 views | MattinLondon | After watching him play at Euro 2000 I thought that Amir Karić was going to be a great signing. After we went top of the league in I think 2014 I thought that Mick bottled it as he realised that he’d be a lot more accountable if we had brought in players and didn’t go up.
Your worst ITFC take on 12:59 - Apr 2 with 2147 views | iamipswich | I STILL think Cameron Stewart would have been amazing for us if he didn't break his jaw

I’m pretty sure some Town fans, on here and Twitter were even talking about us getting into Europe. Oops. I thought 15th would be largely easy to achieve.

I had us finishing 16th. Deluded. Was not really aware how good the likes of Brighton Bournemouth and Brentford really were.

I always thought Bowditch was overhyped. Must have put a lot of pressures on young shoulders. I thought Connor Wickham was destined to be a top Premier player and earn 30-50 England caps. Who knows, but for injuries.

....we'd comfortably finish above Soton, Leicester, Wolves, Palace, Everton, possibly Fulham and maybe a couple of others. What a total turd.
