Me also - his early injury this season didn’t help but he really hasn’t looked out of place in most of his PL appearances. Would love to see him fully fit after a full pre-season and smashing up the Championship. Feel like he works harder off the ball now and imagine this will be worked on further.

Likewise, but will he be happy be a bench player next season? I doubt it.

With Clark, Philogene, Szmodicx, Hirst and hopefully Hutch where does he fit in?

Totally agree. Would be great to see him given more game time but for whatever reason KM seems reluctant at times.

He's got magical feet.

Yeah that's the worry. If rumours are correct about last January, think he could well be out of the door. Which would be a real shame. And foolish - especially if he goes to a top championship side.

I just have a hunch he might be exactly what Wrexham want, and he’d welcome that.

Sounds very plausible, would be such a shame, however if we were to sell these positions we have an embarrassment of riches.

If say it meant we could keep Omari then it’s a no brainer. I hope he stays, when we is on songs he is a joy to watch.

It would be madness if we didn't really, but with his injury record and the new, younger and sexier players now fighting for his position it almost feels it's only trending one way.

He's only just 27 so arguably not even into his prime yet based on modern standards, top/joint scored in our last season at Championship level, and strangely has actually looked better at PL level than he did below, just lacking the goals (and minutes).

I love the guy but where is he going to play? Whatever the fans think, it is difficult to see KM favouring him over Clarke or Philogene.

The front 5/6/7 know they’ll be rotated weekly (if KM stays) as that’s just what he does. Our bench was our strength in L1/champ

Super player. Liked him from the the moment he arrived, but what was that recent game at PR when he started? He was absolutely shot by the time he was subbed. Ran his socks off.

And our weakness in the Prem, hence why we've lost so many games from the 75 min onwards...needs to build to be able to do that in the prem, big challenge.

We won’t have all of them, so he’ll be fine (assuming we still have him).

I’m open minded on many players. If we can keep them all great but there is a balance we need to find in the gradual development of squad and natural churn to keep things fresh. It’s not clear exactly what the core 6-9 players will be versus the finisher group and any extended group players. Where does Broady fit? If he’s fit he can get games, but is he fit often enough!

Still remember that chance he missed v the budgies at PR sat 2 of their defenders on their butts with 2 shimmy’s then blazed wide, the sort of player you would want to be if a pro.

Broadhead is an odd one for me.

He is a good player but the last half of the championship season, he looked a bit meh.

Some games in the PL he's looked good, others (like a lot of others) hasn't done too much.

I suppose it'll depend who come sin and if he wants to leave.

The summers going to be very interesting but I think some of you might have to brace yourself for some "favourites" going.

I think he’s going. He’s in competition with Szmodics, Clarke and Philogne for his left 10 role and that’s an embarrassment of riches for a
Championship team and he’s probably 4th choice out of those 4.

Also I think just got a year on his contract so we either have to contract him or sell him rather than let him go for nothing in a year.

It’s not popular but it’s understandable if we sell.

I hope we keep Broady in the summer (n/t) on 12:00 - May 7 with 572 viewsTractorFrog

From games they started:

Broadhead, 7 points from 6 games.
Clarke, 2 points from 11 games.
Philogene, 0 points from 5 games.

This is very oversimplified and Clarke and Philogene are more proven at championship level, but I think Broadhead has so far been a much better player than those two. Also, while less relevant as they had different teams and different managers last season, I do think it is worth noting that Nathan Broadhead was the top scorer for the team that finished second in the championship last season, while Jaden Philogene came 7th and Jack Clarke 16th.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

What do people realistically expect to get for him? In terms of calibre / ability he’s probably similar to Scott Twine and Morgan Whittaker who left for £3m and £5m respectively last summer.

As soon as the season is over, player values will drop.

I love Broadhead don’t get me wrong, but £3-5m is realistic.

Yup. One of those players you can bring on when you need to ‘mix things up’.

The Southampton 3-2 was a game he had a huge impact in.
