He may well gain the odd GBeebies voter but at the expense of a fair few lefties. Interesting tactics.

One is a platform for anti immigrant, populist, Farage enabling views, the other is a pisspoor TV channel.

He won't even get those. they've already convinced themselves he's Marx reincarnated so that he can fill the country with transgender muslims rather than the rather feeble, reactive and unimaginative Cameron-lite he actually is.

I’ve given Starmer the benefit of the doubt on many occasions - and I still want to.

But I’m edging closer to the Lib Dems now.

He could just state the truth, which is that immigration is not the cause of all the ills of the country.

He could then look at trying to fix a million and one things that are a problem.

But he won’t do that.

He simply cannot out-racist Reform. The only things he’ll achieve will be to further legitimise the far-right (and its media channel) and push people away from Labour.

He’s a disaster.

Amazing to think that the willing accomplices off the worst excesses of austerity are now the least worst choice.

Labour and the Tories both flip-flip or u-turn on policy frequently and both parties have made unpopular decisions. But they are forgiven or excused simply because people are lifelong voters of those parties.

The Lib Dems seem to be held to fair stricter or unmovable set of political principles not enforced to other main parties. And all because they were a junior party in a coalition.

None of the parties have the balls to stop the boats or deport those that have arrived illegally, even those that have been caught raping, robbing and wanting an easy life provided by us tax payers

I know it's still a long way away, but it looks like the slide towards PM Farage is gaining momentum. It seems we don't have anyone with the courage or the charisma to lead our politics against the global drift to the far right.

Much as I'm peed off with Starmer, at least on that platform he can try to talk directly to a lot of fools who are a direct threat to the future of the United Kingdom, so it's worth the effort, you never know.

One TV outlet on one day. He probably does several others throughout the week, every week. How is this worthy of starting a thread on a football messageboard, let alone newsworthy? He has to speak to the electorate on whatever platforms they consume. People would soon complain he's not addressing them if he didn't.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

He'll be the leader of the Tory party by 2028.

He will be responsible for the continued growth of reform.

I get you must be hurting that he's gone full Oswald Mosley. Consider voting Reform at the next election if you want less goose stepping fascism in your leaders.

You’re right this should be in the general thread, along with poems about boats.

Fair enough on making a general thread, which I should have done (and I think the admins have).

Wrong on going on GB News.
